I just had my first taste of wasteland justice.
I'm sitting atop this big old radio tower which watches over a few little settlements and I hear these shots ring out, I quickly locate the source with my CZ 550 and I see this chap running away from a group of five zombies.
I decided to be a nice guy and help him with his zombie problem killing two of them, he turns around and wastes the rest.
I see that he starts bandaging himself up as he had been hit several times.
*BANG BANG*
The guy I just helped drops to the ground dead, and I see this little arsehole running with a pistol in hand towards the still warm corpse, he of course begins looting it.
I decide to get payback, I line up my shot and fire, missing him just by an inch! To my confusion he is still sitting there looting away (I thought he would have ran), as I begin to line up my second shot he disconnects. Little bas***d I say.
I waited for only about a minute before he reconnects, this time my shot was accurate. It knocks him down and I can only assume that it killed him because he disconnects again a few seconds later.
This is when I notice that a third man has just witnessed this event, I tell him in chat that there are two bodies on the railroad which he is more than welcome to loot (there was no chance of me getting to those bodies before him.)
Not surprisingly he was very wary of this situation , I say to him if I was gonna shoot him I would have done it already whilst he was typing in chat. He trusts me and I watch over him as he searches the bodies.
He thanks me for not shooting him and then darts off.

Me and Morbo just done two nice takedowns at Balota Airstrip - VooDoo died there so we were escorting him back to get his stuff. I was providing overwatch with the M16A4 ACOG, whilst Morb (M4A1 CCO) and Voo (revolver with no ammo...) head in. Morb calls two guys coming across the runway.
We were running on a "shoot on sight" basis tonight.
Voo makes a dash for the ATC without them seeing him, whilst Morb goes between the two hangars and manages to take one of them down before getting hit himself, at which point he falls back slightly to bandage up. Meanwhile I've sprinted the best part of 300m to flank round the furthest hangar and bring my scope up and can just see the tip of a hat poking aboove a pile of cement. Bullet hole right at the tip of the forehead, and two in the chest just to make sure
Not an overly "gripping" combat scenario, but still had our hearts pumping at the time!

Hmm, I don't really know what it could be then.
Could always try deleting the Dayz files and then downloading them again.
Can't say that I am very good with these sort of things though so I might not be the person to talk to.

So i'll definitely have some time on this this week, sounds like they've made a lot of interesting changes. My char still has the m4a3 and NVGs. Been alive for a while now! I'm STILL at the dam, I take it some of you are around the north?

I found a UAZ that had to get a full repair (engine,wheels,fuel and glasses)

No I got some weird bug, after I killed a guy it came up with black screen "waiting for server" something like that so I decided to leave after a minute because he might have had buddies looking for me, hardly fair if they get that advantage, so I rejoin and then I respawn outside the map with an alice rucksack and nothing else -.-, some guy shot me with a M4 Outside the map too. Yeah weird place.

That was a bug Snippers - the waiting for server bit was appearing when you should have been turning into a bandit. Fire off a bug report to the Devs and send an email to them and they should replace all the gear for you.
Was that on 1.5.2 as well? It was present in 1.5, they removed bandits in 1.5.1 for a short spell and re-instated them in 1.5.2 from the conversations I've had with some of the team...

My guy was seen last heading south to Chernogorsk on the west side of the map
I'm a bandit now after I panicked after running into 2 people looting the barracks, all I remember was my screen was white from all the muzzle flashes as I laid 2 clips into them XD I got one guy, the other d.c'd got 3 stanag mags back though haha

We got the car working, I crash it into another car and it went on fire. So yeah..
Then there was this guy, who was shooting at us. We injure him and he falls back, so we decide to follow him. Some how, he had already put a satchel?? charge down so we both died, but we also got disconnect due to BattlEye. So we reconnect, we're alive and we see our bodies with full equipment.
So we got double everything now.

i've still yet to see a car, or any sort of vehicle for that matter. i'm somewhere on green mountain, heading south/ east to try and meet up with you lot. hopefully will be on tonight. Wish i wasn't at work, I have literally nothing to do....sad times.

On US3 there were 2 Lada type cars east from Gorka (at the gas station).
He did get off, after we got up he came again, we changed some bullets but he eventually wondered off.

It's missing the original workers, John walked like 10km with a tire!, Birka, Daniel, John and myself all played a part. The real question is how much fuel do we have, and how many seats does the car have.

Car has 8 seats (i think). We have plenty fuel, and you can refill jerry cans, we just need to find a working fuel tank where we can do it. Also have spare metal and a spare tire for repairs. I think we need another car though. BJN and I found a pickup, a dirtbike, and 2 civi cars on our travels yesterday, just not enough parts to get them up and running.

Btw snippers, when the server restarted, 2 tires were missing, so I had to walk to Mogilevka. Thankfully I found 2 tires and also a fuel tank. We got plenty of fuel (I think I got like 4-5 Jerrys on me)

All you need to do is keep spare parts in the current car, wait till we got enough, and then drive it to another car, and then repair it . Also we need a secure camp, in the middle of nowhere right on the edges of the map me thinks, we won't discuss location in this public thread.

Yea, we didn't find a huge amount of car parts to be honest. Other than those large warehouses I'm not sure of any good places to get the stuff. Perhaps we could send a couple guys with empty packs/revolvers to one of those places to grab as much as possible, without risking their gear.
Yea, the current camp isn't brilliant, but i think its unlikely anyone will pass through it. We could do with finding a better place, but its hard to put a tent up that isn't in the middle of a field. I'll be on again tonight, f**k socialising with my housemates!

I picked the tent up as we didn't put anything in it - no point having an empty tent lying around as it just makes people come look.
Sad to hear it's gone though

Oh no, I didn't realise we were gonna leave it there? Did everyone disconnect when I did? Im not even sure where the camp is to be honest. Well, looks like we have an objective today then that car was originally found in lumber yard in berizino yea? Maybe try for another one, or go searching for it (probably impossible)

Well on FR2 server we went to Green Mountain and got the Jeep working, just need to find a fuel tank part for it to be pefrect. This time we parked it all the way to west
