1.5 patch problems

ok guys turned my new pc on and installed bf2, 1.4 ok then when i tried to install my old 1.5 patch off my stick it come up with cant run this with this version of vindows op sys , im on vista 64 bit and it says its 32 bit so i am down loading another patch from file front hope that works .

also can ya help with graphixs settings says i got hd but when i choose it the screen icons are massive

cant help you with that mate, but would like some help with the game freeze i get all the time!?!?! cant tab out, cant alt, tab, delete! nothing have to turn power off on tower! most annoying!

Kop you need to siogn up for a computer coures from your local collage.

LOL @ HD. HD resolution is any thing above 420 but most HD is classed at 1280x1020 so if your running at above that res which is very easy for a PC i bet your rig can go up to 1600 somthing the icon will get bigger cos your lowering the res from PC res to TV HD res.

You are being sucked in by the markerting of the TV sets this is a PC mate.

ok woot woot im such a techy i got bf2 running but its on patch 1.4 wow there are still loadssssssssssssssssssss of servers running on that , ok now trying another 1.5 patch down load but this time im saving it must of clicked run yesterday when i went out and i dont think it ran ,


just need to sort my nvidea display panel out now.

when you say 1.4 do you mean 1.4 or the patch u need before 1.5 which is 1.41?

Yeh Fatal 1900x1200 is above HD. any thing over ????x1080 is better than any TV there is. Although the human eye cannot see any thing better than 72dpi ant 65hz im not sure what dpi 1280x1080 is though.

ok all working well apart from team speak im going to down load it again and try , btw loaded up cod wow looks amazing, sorted the hd to thanks just went back to my windows 3.14 course book from 1991 and found how to do it :study: wow it looks great . played a few single player levels then went on line was wierd to set up for multy play , ok just instaling pkr now so should be back for bf2 tomorrow night .

lolwut, 1920*1080 is HD in the industry (aka 1k, movies at cinemas are 2k and imax is 4k), 720p (1280*800) was made up for the consumer, and it is worth noting that HD is for wide-screen monitors and is in the 16:9 format (1920*1080), (1600*1200) is not full HD as it missing some of the width but yes 1600*1200 can fit 720p HD it cant fit the full 1920*1080, and why should you care blueray is true HD at 1920*1080 and on 1600*1200 you will miss some of this

Sorry to be the d**k but I need to learn to be exact computer science degree if I am wrong please correct me I need to learn.
