Don't like it

1. The spikes on the plow would clog up the bodies kinda making the plow redundant as its job is to clear the path

2. Poor off road capabilities due to no 4 wheel drive

3. Lack of storage for extra fuel and supplies

4. Winch is useful but not on a 2-door coupe you can only winch stuff that is lighter then you

5. No built in 2-way radio or night vision cameras?

Considering they had input from the walking dead creator and could of added any bullshit they wanted I'm not impressed

I would say the perfect zombie survival vehicle would be an APC type setup kinda like this

I hate it also.

The I commend them for putting a plow on the front, but even then, a piece of bone may come free and fall into the engine anyway... something that makes cars in that environment almost silly except for hit and run (which can go bad at any time if you underestimate the amount) or going long distance (but if you didn't have a destination, it's a waste of fuel and you might bottom out in an infested area).

What do you need the lights for? Night-time? You shouldn't be making engagements at night, they have superior hearing and smell, and if you were planning on having NV then the light would ruin the lens and you would have to ditch it. Then again, consider the weight and lifetime of the scope, illuminator, laser perhaps? Not worth the weight to carry it to your nighttime battlefield.

Sorry guys, this is just silly. Need I remind you just how noisy a car is overall... it would certainly attract the undead attention for as long as the volume radius of the engine. I recommend unless you are planning going a long way, to somewhere you know is safe, you simply walk or take a bicycle. Bicycles have the ability to take you a long way without additional fuel, and are just as silent as walking. Imagine a city environment, filled with cars, on a bike you can skirt everything like a motherf---er, one bad turn in this car and it's all over.

I'd also like to comment on the idea of Vig's APC, remember we are aiming for the head...one well placed round through the braincase. What you will end up doing is creating a whole host of crawlers, arguably more dangerous than their easy to spot, slow moving standing counterparts. I will however credit you on the idea that with that armour you can sit out a zombie horde on top of you...provided someone comes to save you before your supplies run out, or it may be your tomb.

Maybe the army wouldn't suck as bad as in the movies but we'd still all be dead, regardless!

i get so frustrated watching walking dead, i mean, there they are in the land of guns and they scrabble around for the odd round here and there and some of them occasionally even get eaten !! sorry but.....wrong !!!! hands up who wouldn't have a LAV with a cage on it with 6 mini guns to cover any arc ? then another APC for ammo and another for food etc etc oh and who wouldn't shoot the zombies for fun ? they all get so upset and depressed by it all.....bullllsheeet, you'd be like "GET SOME GET SOME" until your voice went---everyday !!!!

the USofA would have enough ammo to kill every zombie 30 times over and there would be military equipment for free in every city and Americans being 'kinda sensible' sort of people they would group together and make whole states clean within weeks.

perhaps they FAIL so miserably in 'walking dead' because all the actors are BRITISH !!!!! (and wouldn't know how to rig up a mini gun which of course your average American 5 year old can do in his sleep !!!)

mind you i think every zombie film or TV programme fails like this, just once i would like to see a film where the survivors actually do it properly.

The writer of the Walking Dead said the reason why he made it like he did in his comic books is because he was fed up of it just being about zombies and he wanted it to be more about survival and how humans would react to the breakdown of society.

In real life, if zombies such as the ones from 28 weeks later attacked we'd all be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked, yeah the army would have it under control in a couple of weeks but still, i'd be dead. I know that much. XD

Remember, we want one clean precision shot through the brain, if you are taking an AK then keep it on single shot, don't waste ammo. I do acknowledge that a weapon such as the 47 can carry multiple rounds in a single magazine making it much easier to carry.

Where are you going to get all of that hardware speed? B&Q? Think fuel as well, wouldn't they shut off the supply to the pumps for safety concerns?

So yeah, my hand up against the APC platoon, at best you create a bunch of crawling zombies to have to clean up later.

And that is absolutely no reason to go ahead and go full metal trollop now, is it? When they come we must be looked to as model members of society and not the first person everyone looks at if something goes wrong. All it takes is one bright spark with a Molotov and no sense of their surroundings to turn what could have been a simple operation into a nightmare.

They are dead, do you want them to bleed out? Sure you can break their bones but dead is far better than injured. Their blood is stagnant within the system, which is a blessing for otherwise hand to hand combat would be an alternate suicide option. The brain is still the control center for the rest of the body, even if it has become much slower in processing commands. Zombies just don't have the brainpower to attempt running, even to manage it tirelessly.
