['BIG' MONTHLY ARMA SIGNUPS] 15th September 2012 - Clafgan Domination (Modified player limit)

WHEN - 15th September 19:00 (UK TIME)
MISSION - Clafgan Domination
MAX SLOTS - Unknown yet (20+ likely to be 40/50 upper limit)
MODS - Standard server config (ACRE+ACE+UO)

Purpose
This event is aimed to play as realistically as possible with as many players as possible. The main part of the game should last about 2 hours! Roleplaying your character is greatly encouraged!

Arrival time - 18:50 or before
- All players should turn up at least 10 minutes beforehand and be on the server 5 minutes before start time.
- Fireteam Leaders/Squad Leaders to turn up at least 45 minutes before start, you will be contacted ahead of time if you make one of these roles.
- You need to ensure that your game is upto date before the event (recommend updating day before, then re-updating on the day)

Slot Policy
- Slots priority is firstly given to those who have signed up in this thread, on a first come, first served basis.
- If more slots are free and you happen to tag along without having signed up, it will be on a first come first served basis.
- If you fail to get to the mission 10 minutes before start, your signed up slot will be made available to those on a first come, first served basis.

Rules
- Follow orders and chain of command
- Do not teamkill
- Do not fire within 150m of the spawn

I like the idea of having a medevac. We could easily add the script and make it optional in parameters. I would love to pilot that

. We would need at least 20 infantry to make that happen though.

Won't be a problem man. We were playing until at least 2200 GMT last Saturday and I'm hoping we go much later with this one.

I generally just make my own sniper missions in editor, sometimes i even make them interesting, with the AI flying me someplace dropping me off, then killing the enemies, and scripting the chopper to pick me up again - :3
I have plenty of shooting practice heh, I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind shooting a few rounds with you though.

last course I made 850m shots.. But with bono.. But I guess your right.. It doesnt matter with who I shoot..

went into your server guys and made 900m shot all by myself.. ^^ first shot..

How the hell do you do that? The only thing i can do on mission editor is to spawn some soldiers and kill them lol

AI scripts can be found on Armaholic, its easy if you have even basic programming knowledge

QFT! Ideally you want non-moving targets for practice so use Independents as targets. Set them as neutral. Once you are comfortable you can use OPFOR or indies as hostile.
To find a good sniping range you can just fly around the map for a bit.

what i do is hosting my own domi on different maps.
random target areas, different positions, entry and exfil are allways changing. (recruit AI pilot)

just set armor at main targets to none (might as well for arty spotters). helped me a lot.

but sure we can do that together.

Sounds good! we normally have a few that sign up closer to the end, as they aren't certain about their avalibity. The key thing is to ensure the mods are up and running best way to test they installed correctly is to join our server at anytime. I will be on Thursday/Friday night to resolve any issues
