Company of Heroes players?

I've been a massive relic fan for aagess with the Dawn of War series, and I saw the CoH Anthology for cheap cheap and picked it up, coming in 3 days.. do we have any players here? I've seen Master and Bagger in the COH Ts section, but how many do we have? I imagine it'll be great fun with a big 4v4 with each team on TS Wink

Yeah I've got it.
I would suggest a 4v4 on the Blitzkrieg mod as it is for CoH what PR is for BF2. Tons of new units, increased realism (Realistic penetration and armour etc) and some beautiful huge maps:

Same as Exe for liking the Wehrmacht.. Blitzkreig is one of the greatest military tactics I've seen, Fast, Mobile armour that packs a punch supported by highly trained soldiers? Perfect.

Speaking as a historian, the german tactics of Blitzkrieg, albeit well thought out was entirely flawed. The German army didn't have the resources or tactics to sustain a long war. Blitzkrieg was designed to rapidly crush enemies. Britain posed another problem, as did Russia.

Hochwald gap is 4 v 4 and imo it sucks.... Steel pact or montaris region are the best 4 v 4 maps:)

The Blitzkrieg mod has plenty of 4v4 maps and they are huge in comparison to the standard ones. Theres one called 'The Rhine' or something along these lines and it is literally about 4x bigger than Hochwald Gap. The Black Forest map is the same. If I'm correct there are also some desert maps.

Hehe, pretty sweet, just tried CoH out on mah new pc and it runs everything on ultra (everything at highest setting) and it runs totally smooth

performance test minimum fps was 50, maximum 65 I think and average around 56

(and really those cutscenes are as heavy as it gets, aka normal play is über smoot

)

Yeah, I got something silly like Maximum 500~ FPS, Minimum 250 odd, so I think I'm secure

Anything above 30 I find totally playable though :/
