Strange sound problem!
Last night it happens 3 times, Just happens now on Kokan.. Everything is fine and then BAM! it sounds like aliens are invading my headset. People can hear me i think coz i said somthing to Capitan and i heard him laughing, but his laugh was like a chipmunk. any ideas?

When you're speaking you sound like an alien as well.. that's why everyone was laughing.
As for the issue, like I said yesterday.. probably the soundcard going to hell.

ill try another game on steam now 2 see if its the same there and not just PR.
@ Bounty i no it goes back 2 normal when i close everything?

Do you use onboard (motherboard) sound or an additional soundcard?
Maybe it's some input conflict? Possibly a loop back effect?
Anything else plugged into your soundcard?
Do you have Xfi enabled in PR?
Are you running with LOW sound settings? Hardware or software?
Have you inadvertently enabled S/PDIF?
Disable any 3rd party audio software, ensure windows drivers are correct.
I had a similar problem with an early Soundblaster Xfi card - binned it! I just use mo-bo sound now - your Dell Dimension onboard sound will happily handle all Bf2 sounds.

but i have no clue about all that stuff you mention, the only thing different is r kev took his Headset out and i put that set from you in? thats all.

Is that headset USB? Or does it have phono jacks on the end?
