joystick/pad
ok i have allways flown jets with my joypad and the choppers with my keys. I have started to fly a bit more in PR ( when BT allows me) but find it quitejerky on the keys and was wandering if any one could recomend a joystick to use. I tmust be simple to set up as i have never used one before ( apart from when i used to play shinobi many moons ago ..) could you send some links or is it possible to set my saitek rumble pad up to fly chopper its p6000 i think .

Re: joystick/pad
Would ur gamepad not do it?
I personally use mouse and keyboard and wouldn't dream of using anything else.
However if you do wish to use a stick u need to make sure u get one with rudder conrol.

Re: joystick/pad
I've got some logitech joystick I bought to play Lock-On with w00k, and use it in vanilla BF2, but I honestly can't get used to it in PR - think my sensitivity was way too high for it to be used properly, and the movements feel so different anyway, I'll just stick to WASD and Mouse

Re: joystick/pad
The PR joystick con fig thing is a bit buggy. load into BF2 vanilla with the profile you use for PR. Set up your stick in there on a empty server you can press esc and set the stick then after clicking apply press esc again to go back to the game and you new setting will be applied so you can check them.
Once they are good log out and login to pr and your settings will be there. also be fore you load the game grab ya stick and rotate it all the way round on every axis that makes sure it is centred for in game use.

Re: joystick/pad
I can only say good luck. As I have found it easier to fly using the key pad, (not the joystick). So I obtained a Belkin N52. I have found this works well in all games and well worth a look

Re: joystick/pad
In pr there are those that can fly, and fly well, then there are those who's role in life is to be a passenger.

Re: joystick/pad
logitech attack 3
cheap, great and simpel.
Why do you need 35 buttons if you can do it with 12.

Re: joystick/pad
Depends on what you're playing, SoH. With Lock-On 35 buttons would be a great help
