Epic round of Op. Marlin feb. 4th/5th Empty Epic round of Op. Marlin feb. 4th/5th

Had a realy neat round on Marlin this night.

Doin what i do best, i took the timberwulf for a walk, and since wolves allways come in packs, i had big viglen aside with the other one.

Packed in our plaster-clown (medic, realy nice job done by a pubber named LVairsoft) and the long range restrainer (RMspecialist, The_Falken_DK), we got our first blood at the hill village. Scoping down from the construction site to the first cache area G6ish, we noticed a large hippie-convention round the sunflower field aprox. 400m from us. Since we were not close enough to yell at them not to pick the flowers, we had convince them otherwise. Luckily vig and me each had 40 little friends who all could run faster than those tree-huggers.
Soon enough we got them of the drugs and into a good rage so they quitted love-peace-n-happienes-mode and started to attack, so we told us that our job here is done, so we headed of for next areas.

We took the highway to be faster... yeah, on foot, i know... and ran over to the hotel. At the bridge before it, there was one local ticket-salesman going to collect road charge, but vig send him the money in a .408 and he gave way with no hesitation.

Most of the time upon the hotel we enjoyed the landscape through the binocs, but at one point we taught two turban heads on the tv-station how to die synchronical, witch amazed a third one THAT much that he instandly fell unconscious, dropping down on his belly.
For a while we were save, but when some fan of carlos hathcock took out his LeeEnfield and started pick us off, we decided to leave.

We went on upon the highway, when suddenly a wild smurf (guy from our team, one of the [NO]-clan, if i remember right) and a wild civilian under us appeared.
Smurf used "yellin"--- nothing happens.
civi used stone --- the attack was not effective.
suddenly, another wild civilian and a wild PKM-guy appeared.
Falken used shotgun on civi --- the attack was very effective --- civi was defeated.
Falken had the initiative --- Falken used assault rifle on PKM-guy --- the attack was very effective --- PKM-guy was defeated.
other wild civilian flees.

We went on the highway to the west, sadly leaving Falken behind, who decided to do chinook. We reached the hills in A8 to have perfect overview to the 4th cache location by then. As we decided that the roofs are now for canadians only and started to convince the insurgents of this, two spg-techies zero'd in on us, painted with some ponies on their doors. As they were both stationary, Viglen thought "hey thats an invite" and went for their gunners. I tried to follow his lead, but got a frag spg to the face.
Gotten back from the land of dead, i went on where i got off, cleaning the roofs from biological threads. But the ponies didn't like that so they came closer up to one ridge line south of us.
Vig and i didn't talk about who is whoose target, i just noticed "techie south", we turned around and fired away, shootin out both the gunner and the driver allmost exactly the same time.
I still hope, slorg and loki recorded that, though they denied it on all-chat... it was them two we cleaned that techie from :D Wanna see that in episode 14 or 15, mates Epic round of Op. Marlin feb. 4th/5th 757254

And if that wasn't enough, Vig managed to interrupt their techie-recovery-attempt by shooting the driver out of the moving techie AGAIN.

Of course, this didn't last forever. Loki taught me what a .50 round does with a head, so after kit recovery we went on to the outskirts, to the building near the doubble-hotel and the pool looking for the last cache.
We were there for bout 15 mins when Vig called me "Hey, Chris! Is that a cache there on the roof?" And it was. We were looking to the known area, witch was near the hotel north of the highway, the very one we were sniping of before. But the one Vig spotted was the unknown. We had an allmost perfect view on it, flat roof, middle distance, enemies starting to spawn on it like crazy. Called squad 3 led by Futeki that theres a cache danger close to them.. in this moment they got into contact and got wiped out. To save our tickets i told them to come over ant bring a HAT along, but as soon as they were at us, they pulled a tail of bad guys with them. To save time i demanded the HAT kit to me and gave a shot myself. It was a good hit, the first guys on the other team GG'd allready... unfortunatly it didn't hit the radio so it took a second shot, but this time a brave civi jumped into the rocket path, giving his life to defend their last ground, gaining valuable minutes for his team since we had no ammo left.
Futekis smurfs reloaded the HAT, commin up again, evryone defending that guy from the insurgent last dramatic efforts to stop us. He fired... and hit the sunpanels on the roof near the cache... man, i was close to teamkill him for that epic miss.
So i demanded the kit back again, took the shot...
...round is ending.

Enjoyed that very much, got out 21 to 2, Vig with about 28 to 0, one cache destroyed directly by us... realy sattisfying round!

Thanks to:
Viglen (you as a sniper are someone allways good to know on the friendly team, mate)
LVairsoft (great spotting, great close defense, good medic)
The_Falken_DK (nice squad defense, as long as you were in :D, after that nice flying)
[FIN]Futeki (thanks for being my long arm and for passin us the HAT kit)

And of course the pony squad for being enemies, not victims (like the rest of your team)

THANX!!!
C

Yeh we were rolling dual SPG on that map, killed a lot of your guys especially at the start of the round. 26 kills for loki and about 16 for our second SPG. 2 chinooks down, 4 APCs, 4 landys, 2 logis and countless infantry camping on hills.

ye man, when i got off the server i was like
Epic round of Op. Marlin feb. 4th/5th Smiling+cat+by+%5Bpuamelia%5D+at+flickr

See, when a round on our PR server is made off:
a team where at least 3 squads work together
+ a squad that knows its role
+ an amazing map (witch marlin definitly is)
+ plans, that work at least half way you imagined
+ some win-situations
+ little bit of AWSOME (3 times shooting out the vehicle operator in a row)

well, if i had no ears, i would have been smiling in a full circle :D
