I'm getting over 50% CPU usage in Opera 'cos of the snow effects on our web pages.

Can we maybe go for a simpler effect? as it may be that cluster in the corner that's the main offender.

snow needs to go - it makes my phone soooo laggy when i try and view the webpage - esp when it is coupled with the scrolling news thing on the home page
