PcC Spec and game settings.

After a few people having issues I'd like to find out your settings and what you are running it on. Looking at the screen shots in other threads I want to get a view on how to get the best looking game play with a balance on FPS. The screen shots look better than I can archive, I may have missed some graphics driver settings.

So please list your settings and rig spec.

I'll post mine tomorrow.

Hey orf, one thing I found very handy was the following: In sixupdate there is a tab called "game profile" (or something like that). On this tab you can actually set what amount of CPU's it should use and what amount of memory (2047 = max mem) and you can set the world to "empty" to load the game faster and you can also tick the boxes skipIntro & noSplash.

PS. you have to do those settings again and again, i dont think you can save them or anything (havent found it)

My settings are customized, but the over all result says very high. I have seen screen shots and vids from snipps and xazp etc and my game looks no different. Also runs smooth as f**k. Only problem I have is over heating but i got a fan blowing on my s**t now so its been sweet xD

On the link scotty shared I did the FPS fix, did not do the mouse fix and the CPU resource increase can be done through sixupdater (I did it this way so I was sure it was using it etc.)

Yer I didn't bother wit the mouse thing just FPS.

Not brilliant but serves me well and nothing runs massively hot, will update in feb when I have my 680/7970

@Delta - you should set your Video Memory to Default. "High" Isn't actually the highest it goes if you have a good card better to put it on default, or so I've heard.

Don't know what FPS I usually get but it's good enough for me.

Game settings:


ATOC = all trees + grass
PPAA = SMAA normal

Just checked, I get 30fps with those settings, only Falluhja gets near 20fps sometimes.

This was with me just messing around in the editor btw.
