Solved my problem with FPS drop over time
Hello, I just solved a problem I've had for a year or more. I figured I'd post it here in case anyone else experience the same thing.
What happened was, after a while of playing PR (about 0.5 - 1 hour) my FPS would suddenly decrease. And I noticed the FPS drop only occurred while moving my mouse. If I had my mouse completely still, I'd get ~80 fps. While moving it, it'd drop to ~20 or less.
I tried just about everything! Then I started to notice that my Caps Lock light would get stuck on when the fps drop started. Hitting caps again would not turn the light off, and the only way to fix it was to restart my computer.
Anyway, how I solved it was to Remap my Caps Lock key. Not ingame, but completely remap it. Who needs caps lock anyway?
Well this fixed it and I hope this might help anyone else having this problem.
So basically caps lock was the crook all along, I guess hitting it too many times or maybe hitting it in combination with something else caused this.
PS. I can still use Caps lock for opening the map ingame, even though it technically doesn't exist on my keyboard

Also, Vandal had a similar problem. He solved his by turning off compatibility mode in the PR shortcut.

I know dude, but Caps Lock is much easier to reach. Plus I've got a habit of pressing Caps, so it's really hard not to use it

"Problem being caused by pressing Caps Lock too much...
Can choose not to use Caps Lock -
Choose still to use Caps Lock due to force of habbit -
Fail"
