Fraps & Project Reality

Hey Gang,

I've recently obtained a version of fraps and it works great for other games (DayZ, CS:GO) however it causes PR to CTD. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I'd really love to record some pwnage moments but as of right now I can't...

ur best chance is contacting slorg & loki from GS clan about it, they got planty of experience with fraps and PR

What's your computer like, hardware wise? Fraps is fairly demanding as it does not compress the video you're recording.

On my old computer (4.0GHz dual core, 4GB RAM and a GTX260) I could not record PR either. It lagged, the sound got messed up and the program often crashed.

Yeh shabz our tech guru gave you a load of possible solutions on our forums. If none of those work just check your PM inbox on this site and try that out instead.

Yes, my new computer is a 3.5GHz quadcore with 16GB RAM and a GTX680.
It works wonders when rendering video files (using up to 15GB RAM including Windows/Internet browsing/Video).
