ok trying to join our server
first attempt it says it has failed to connect, sencond attempt always gets me in
once i get into the server i cant join any squad, i simply click on the squad i want to join and nothing happens
i try to spawn in by clicking on any spawn point and nothing happens either, it still shows select a spawnpoint at the top of the screen??
HELP! i cant join any game in any server, its the same all over

p.s i havent changed any settings etc on my computer, i'v tried updating and reinstalled my PB and it says everythings up to date

Join TS and ask the lads for some help.. be easier that way.

i dont have a mic at the mo mate, got it broke when i moved house

to spawn in you must click the 'done' tab at the bottom of the spawn map screen, they changed the protocol recently to stop that annoying thing where you could end up spawning involuntary back at main base.

i do click on done
this is driving me crazy as i cant join any server

yep all true, windows security update broke the security layer involved with connecting to a server. The first attemp always fails happens to every one. The second attempt always gets through.

Also as mentioned you have to click done. Once you have selected your spawn point. This stops you auto spawning if you are wounded and waiting for a medic and your timer (5mins) runs out. It gives you chance to select a new spawn point or the SL's rally point. With out being auto spawned at main base.

oops missed ya last post. No clue why its doing the no squad or spawn thing. If it was PB you would be kicked off the server.

Try a fresh install, some thing is a bit fooked up.

i click on done everytime, i noticed that even when playing on singleplayer
even when you hit enter it shows the spawn time at 5000+ seconds
i click done and all it says is select a spawnpoint nothing else... if i wait nothing happens
i cant even join any squad.. i'm dying to get back into this game but its turning out to be more of a hassle than anything else

I'm pretty sure you should be able to join a squad once you have spawned. First you need to spawn though.. (I've had it a couple of times that you can't join a squad untill you have spawned, though usually it should work from the start)

but i cant spawn to join a squad, the spawn points are there and i can select them but nothing happens when i click on done

go to settings before entering deployment, click reset to default on all key strokes and mouse etc.

sounds to me that your mouse left button isn't binding once in game ?

my mouse button is working fine, i can switch between available kits

sounds pretty bad, tbh I would just say its easier to reinstall BF2/PR if you have the installs/disk to hand

i'm in the middle of that now, just taking a while

Did you try restarting your computer? For some reason when I have left my laptop on for a while and then load PR, about 3 minutes after running it it instantly freezes and says its not responding.
Quick restart and my game is always back to normal
