Anyway.. Me and Ferit found a tent in Elektro (Unpitched), so we've got one to add. Also got some med supplies.

okay well i think when i get back from my mri scan we're gonna fill up the zodiac and a few others and i'll personally run a convoy service up and down the east coast to get all this s**t back to camp. thing is the tents we have are either full or flattened haha :S

I'm photographing a wedding today, partying tonight, and convalescing Sunday. I'll be back in the thick of it on Monday to find our heli.

But at the end of the day, im pissed at what happened, im just glad I didn't put my nightvision FN-FAL in the tents and exe has it, but we lost everything in 3 server restarts and our camps got found out when we were with Snippers, and my tent with my mate and my car got lost when we logged in the next day too, so just have to do what most countries do after a war and rebuild, preferably somewhere less obvious this time and one that only a few of us know about

Ah never mind, its pretty much what we've been doing to other people eh? We'll just have to find all our stuff, and get it back.

Well yesterday I accidentally crashed 1 tent (sorry) and I thought capitans NVG's were in there so I put mine in of the tents. Guess you got mine now

But yeah, start all over again in a new server. Can't be bothered to play in US3 where it's desync all the time.

Well the problem with changing server is we loose the boat? Cool Lovvi next time were on ill pass them over to you. I guess we could just use US 3 for when were on the east coast and use another server when going inland.

if we scout the coast im sure we can get another.

The good thing about US3 is that there is usually space when we want to play (EU day time) and its usually day time on the server as well. We could really do with a good place to set up camp, but nowhere is really safe...

Logged on last night to find naught but devastation... AND A BIKE! Supercool. Ah well, time to start over. Maybe we find a more remote locale for camp next time?

It's good practice to run around and try to raid by yourself. Helps to learn the zombie aggro radius to the various sight/sound levels... but yeah, this game is 1000000% cooler with a group.

im gonna study the map maybe look for a good position now.. as for my bike caleb.. yes it was s**t awesome, that thing did 0-70 down a hill and caught up with a Quad and also i went from cap krutoy to our camp in abouttt 10 mins (Y)

Been having a right fight me, exe and BJN against 2 guys for their car.

Started off me in Berezino spotting a guy, had to go put my plate away from food then I lost the scent. After a while of practising my tracking skills, I found some disturbed zombies, so I went round the corner and there and low and behold, a dead zombie.

I continued my search by climbing a roof in which I saw 2 more dead zombies. After looking around for a good 5 mins, I spotted a zombie running through my binos, then another and another and then, I saw the B*****d running away. I quickly followed him only to then loose him again by the docks.

I began giving up hope, when through the slightest gap in the fence, I spotted a zombie running. I ran after it to find some dust, instantly I knew, THIS IS A CAR! I saw the car and after being eagered on by clan mates, I fired a whole AK clip into the side of it. He drove off swerving away.


Later, when Everyone had gone, I found his tent and I began checking it. I was still with Exe, but he was bored of waiting so I thought i'd climb a high building, have a look then leave. I climbed it then BAAAAAAAAAANG, freaking M107 fired at me. I dodged it then took another peak, BANG he missed again. Exe tried frantically to find him but had no luck and it seemed he had gone.

So after some searching, Exe got bored and wanted to go to bed so he logged out and BJ was on another server. Walking towards our camp, I saw dust on the road then a car. I quickly hit the deck and he must have saw me too and swerved off the road towards his camp. There, the final showdown took place.

I spotted two of them in the car (maybe 3) and shot one. He hit the deck then I fired 2 more rounds at the driver. He got away and his friend d.c'd (was an asshat) When I peered round the corner to find the other driver, he fired his M107 at me, hitting me and taking ~1500 blood off me, so can't have been so bad.

Then, BJN came to my rescue and fired rounds at him, he then disconnected too, but the car was gone, so maybe a 3rd person was there.

Tomorrow, I shall have that car by camping their camp!

tl;dr - Had a fight over a car, tried to make the story sound cool, hurt my fingers typing. The end, now go sleep -pat-

Just a bit of background about me. From freshman year of high school till freshman year of college, I played this MUD, Imperian, from the Iron Realms people, you know, Achaea, that f*****g mess. I got in right at the start, literally first five minutes of the server being open. And boy was I in. I logged thousands of hours in-game as Rasca. One character, five years. It's the deepest I've ever been into gaming, and DayZ is in real danger of wresting that title away. I don't think I would've made it this far without you lads. The game is so brutal that without human contact, teamwork, some sort of connection, the continual psychological struggle of survival would've made me say, fuckit, quit this, don't need this. But with it, all new challenges open up and the game evolves organically... f*****g crazy man. DayZ, where have you been all my life?

I lay down by a bush in Kabanino, broke my legs, egg-timered me, and started me bleeding out. I alt-f4'd in a panic because I thought I'd been sniped (laaaame), which turned a short egg timer into a five minute one, where I'll surely bleed out. Argh. Anyway, I'm southeast of a barn pretty sure. By a bush. A goddam leg breaking bush.

Yea ALT+F4 won't work anymore, only good thing is that the killer won't get your loot if you join another server

what about Alt+Tab and then Ctrl+Alt+Del and end process??

Same difference I think. It's not that it won't work, it's that Rocket has said the main server will detect rapid disconnect/reconnections and kill your character. Eventually. Maybe.

Anyway, Scotty, I think you're closest to me, so tomorrow maybe you can evac my sorry carcass?

How's the game after 1.7.1? Heard the zombies are super scary now. Kinda hope US79 isn't on it yet until Rocket hotfixes some of the broken z behavior.
