NwA Scotty

Hi there!
I reckon you know me as a regular, love the server btw. 

First of all it takes a lot for me to bother to type in a complaint here, but I got so frustrated now that I terminated my round prematurely to type in this:

NwA Scotty abuses mumble as Squad Leader.
He is constantly using the All-squad-leaders-channel even though he is adressing another specific squad or the commander.

With 7 squadmembers under your charge, a commander and 8 other SLs, there is alot of voices. After playing PR and leading squads for 3-4 years at least, I can handle this quite fine, but not when I have a constant stream of usually-irrelevant-scottymumbling streaming in the background. 
It`s purely spamming and strongly interferring with my gameplay and today I realized it`s not only my problem, it`s others problem aswell!

Today I respectfully requested him to speak directly with numpads, and other SLs did the same thing (this is not only bothering me). It didnt help. I then politely asked, why he couldnt speak directly?! The reason stated was that he didnt bother because the buttons where to far away on the keyboard... I expressed why I would prefer that he spoke directly, but the answer was " i dont care". 

Ginger was online as an admin, so since I couldnt function as a SL with this going on, i took it up with him who (fair enough) referred to the forums. Scotty then called me something like a f*****g to**er. Being named Partywanker, this actually didnt offend me though ;p , but jeeezz I dont care about him being NwA or if he got any kind of clan-stature. This ignorant behavior is not acceptable and its damaging for the gameplay experience on your server!

Before update 1.0 I had him muted for this mumble-abuse, and I`m going to do this now aswell, but in light of others SL aswell being that annoyed by this, I had to make this post. So please, someone with authority, bring this to him.

Thanks for the post, and some squad leaders prefer to be in the know of whats going on with the other squads (myself included) and only count SL spam as useless chatter or something very specific which would be better relayed via direct. However as an SL myself i can understand your frustration when you've got SL channel, Squad chat and Direct comms going on...but as an admin I also have TS as well to contend with! 

I can't excuse scotty's responses, but only say that sometimes things can get hot in PR and words are uttered without thinking.

But as I said there's not allot we can do about it, but just try and enjoy the game.

Good points and I totally agree and understand, but im sorry to say that I dont feel it fitting that well to my complaint, imo. 

I actually claim that he is spamming since he is using all-SL-channel for something very specific which would be better relayed via direct. 
He is a fine SL, shareing good intels, easy to coordinate with and good in many ways, but he refuses to use his numpads. 

Even though you might not agree with me, there is one thing you can and should do about this in cases like this:
Tell him that he got a complaint on the forums, and that he should read it.

Hey just been told about this post so thought id come and have my say

I dont use numpads: First reason my left hand refuses to go across to the other side of the keyboard its just not right! Second reason is I am not taking my right hand of my mouse b.coz my finger will be off the trigger and that is not gunna happen! Third reason I dont use the numpads that game was b.coz the intel I was providing was for everyone.. the only time I actually ever use direct is for a huey to come pick me up!  And after we won the round every other squad leader plus the commander all said to me great game scotty  so maybe you need to chill mate and just learn to drown out what you dont want to hear =] thats what i do. Sorry I pissed you off Wanker.
