We found out because I noticed we couldn't pick up enemy kits, and then it struck me. I had been reading about db's server script and remembered (not able to use enemy kits) was one of the changes. After that, Sinc jumped in as CO and confirmed that the UAV indeed went up in 15 seconds.


About Delta getting kicked, was entirely our fault. Guys showed up late and therefor the team didn't get counted properly.

We'd probably lost even if we knew about the db changes, it's just that it's annoying knowing about it and thinking it could've played out differently.
Plus the fact that we're a little pissed of about not being told about it.

Let's have a rematch on our server and we'll get super funky with all the server files

ok point 1 same we were waiting for a inf SL as I had DC'd at around 0:35 in the spawn screen midway with finalising details with my squad and then I had to restart PR to rejoin. However, reading the chat logs explains a lot, I got kicked as soon as I had loaded in, I literally spawned and then got kicked, when I asked in TS no-one said that they had said i was AFK hence why I was pissed off.

I appologise for having a go, however, it would have been a lot of help if someone had done the !pb restart so I could have rejoined once we found out who the mystery extra player was (I agree we had to many I mean mystery as in I personally do not know who it was and no-one I spoke to last night knew either).

I understand your position a lot more now, it seemed a bit off and kinda very rash from my point of view and I hope you can see why it aggrevated me. I will agree with you that the comms were poor, I waited 15minutes to get a response from my guys as to who was the extra player and why I got kicked and when I could rejoin and didn't get much of a reply other than you guys were making me wait the full 10mins (which also pissed me off) and we didn't know who the extra player was. In the end I left because it seemed no-one was doing anything and the only way I could have got back in is by kicking one of the guys in my squad, which would not have been so counter productive it was pointless.

Thing is, there are a lot of ifs, buts and whys in life. If i had done that... but I could have done this.... why didn't you do that? Etc. Etc.

We just need to learn from the mistakes made (on both parties) and move on.

It really pained me last night just being a squad member! that role really doesn't suit me at all. Expect a pm from me in the near future for a rematch.

If and when we have a rematch with PRTA it will be done on our server, all the other clan match's that we had on our server's were problem free and i'd like it to stay like that.


Tbh if I was there and found out about the db mod I would insisted on restart and if I didnt get I would of left.

I promise you guys I checked with our server guy about the DB changes and he said no they are not on.

I'm pretty sure you guys are laughing thinking we are butthurt and finding any excuse for loosing, but we ain't mate, it just upset 3/4 of our team when they found out this secret and even if it wasn't a problem, your sides commander must have seen it if you had one and not mentioned it.

Ah well, all is kewl I s'pose, would love another game, just hope I can attend :3

from reading this and being a mere clan member (not an admin) i can see that more communication is needed between the clans and also more organisation is needed with leeway for if people do not turn up and things like this.. with delta him loading in was probably seen as him being afk then as soon as he was in and we'd passed over the sl he was kicked! so yeah again the communication lacked there. we should stop blaming people it was just overall lacking i felt.

let me actually clarify the DB's changes f*ck up

When Db launched his update we wanted to try it out, So Otom(our main server guy) changed our server code. We didn't really like the changes so after 2 weeks we asked Otom to delete them, and he did. A few days after Otom got severely ill and still is . It was also around that time we noticed that our server code for our EU01 and EU02 servers was f*cked. Most of DB's changes were deleted, but not being able to pick up enemy kits stayed (I didn't even know about the UAV). But with Otom's absence we had nobody to fix it so we just played our public games with these changes.

We used EU02 for this match(since it has soundmod and mumble set up), and I guess we forgot about it. We were so used to playing with these changes for the past month that we forgot to use 'vanilla PR' code for this match. And I am sorry for that, I should have known.

And delta, sorry for the Kick. But I was the only admin doing all the work for the most part so I just asked a name and then 'kick Delta' was said to me multiple times. In the heat of things I forgot to restart pb.

Anyway, looking forward to the rematch I think it's fair to let you guys set up server and pick the map this time. Cya on the field. We will need some time to fix some stuff in our sign-up process for these things, so give us something after the 17th perhaps?
