Planetoid Commander! (my game)

So I finally got my wordpress to work and I uploaded my newest game to my personal site:

It was created with Unity3D (free license) and was made for a competition in school.

It is based on the 1980 game "Missile Commander" but with a new twist and new graphics.

wow thats hard!

I found that defending one base was the easiest way which lived me another 2 minutes more on my laptop.

Mostly because the time it took me to move around the moon? i had already lost a third of my things.

The sliders in the menu change aim speeds. Horizontal is rotation around planet and vertical is up and down. It is a little tricky but it's meant to be played with a proper mouse and not a touchpad. Also Unity isn't exactly performance friendly on older computers, at least not on mine.

Generally it's best to just defend a couple of cities and forget about the rest. In the orignial you only had a narrow screen where you could see everything, in Planetoid Commander you can only see part of the battlefield adding to the difiiculty.

I didn't exactly fine tune the difficulty but just focused on finishing on time xD

Looks very good! Cool game you made their, I could see some people playing ages to beat eachothers scores

bet if i could come up with some insane time, i could get the guys in my class to battle eachother.

That'd be really cool. Like I wrote I get 25% of add revanue (+10 if it's exclusive + 15 if it uses kongregate login and achievements). Once my profile earn 100$ they send me a nice check. I could have gone with paypal and they'd pay at just 25$ but I never really use that..
