Realistic Gaming Redefined!
Realistic Gaming Redefined!
Project Reality is not the game for the faint of heart, it has a steep learning curve and it requires you to have a mic and work as a team.
Do not expect a simple join and fight game, remember to bring your patience and willingness to learn.
That being said, the games are well worth the time spent. A mature gaming community where everyone is looking for great games of PR. I cant explain it to you, but here is a video example of the gameplay we usually get.
This is a Promotional Video

Thank you Gazz_Thompson for making this!
Dont worry about joking around, as much as the PR players loves blowing stuff up. We arent always the most politically correct soldiers.
Thank you Spyker for making this!
So if you have been searching all your life for the answer, look no further. PR Will solve all your problems:)

Pretty cool, but in the last video I'm getting annoyed by the guy filming because it looks like he is just not paying attention

Re: Project Reality - Realistic Gaming Redefined
is it growing in the best direction ?
there has been some things/movements recently that have caught my eye for the wrong reasons, permanently un-admin'd servers for a start, we are feeling this right now as they export players who wouldn't be classed as even average vanilla players in both skill and attitude and before anyone says 'educate' there is little or nothing that can be done with people who can't even work out they can't fire the gun of the tank they have just solo'd a mile from base !!
it used to be that PR server files where handed out under license, those days seem to have gone...
another movement that concerns me is the ever growing (albeit anecdotal) rise of the 'super elite' within the established PR community, now i have no problems taking the piss or gloating when i've just gone 34:0 kdr with a LMG but i do have a big problem with those clans that have recently taken this type of performance as their 'ethos' and the reason for playing at all.
the DEVs have recently said that PRT does not represent the 'PR brand' and i can see exactly where they are coming from with that, PR is an end in its own right, teamwork should be strived for by all players and it is certainly not the preserve of self styled 'elite professionals' who think they are above everyone else (server providers and admins alike, let alone humble 'pubbies')
also i see an influx of new players who neither know nor care for PR's past, take the 128 issue for example where many people frequenting the PR forums openly show nothing but hostility towards the very people that have made PR the community what it is, you know, the people who have given lots of time and money to provide well run servers, i mean look at the reputation that UKWF has amongst these people, that really gets me proper pissed off, like they know what the f**k they are talking about........
so yeah of course i will carry on playing PR and have been around long enough to know that many repugnant people in our community will soon be gone (either through making to many enemies, ignorance or even not being able to live with their own flawed ego's) but do i think everything is roses in the PR garden ? imo, no.

Once again speed you slice straight to the heart of things.
I particularly loathe the awesomeness of the "super elite".

Re: Project Reality - Realistic Gaming Redefined
Gotta agree with Speed.
Think we need to oreint to filling all servers up and not focusing on just 1 or 3.
