Ive just finished crysis 2, what single player game has captured you?

from start to finish in a bout 5 hours, granted i had already played about half so i knew what was coming, but locked in my room, bottle of water and my coputer, just escaped from reality for a night, that is what single player games are all about!!!!

so what game has caught you like that?? for me it has to be operation flashpoint or system shock 2

STALKER Shadow of chernobyl. Absolutely epic atmosphere even with a few bugs. I'm can still smell my (then) new leather chair and now evey time I smell leather I start listening for bloodsuckers and looking for anomalies, haha.

Other than that I can't remember any particular game.. Oh yes KOTOR which I played recently was very good.

My one would be the Mass Effect series and a game which was about dinasours , cant recognise the name tho , i can remember that i was a fat big boobs woman , stucked in an island , trying to run away from dinosaurs (Game is pretty old)

the new Deus Ex (human revolution) I must say is pretty damn good at capturing the user, you can play it just about any style you want, lots of choice as to how to play. I also did enjoy the half life 2 single player a lot, and the splinter cells

operation flashpoint cold was crisis, even bough gold pack(play as russian's lol). Can remember being a US pilot shot down BEL at night and only using my compass and the star's to navigate to get from A to B, epic game for them times.

p.s lol anybody played cossack:art of war online here? first time i started playing online games

Assassin's Creed 2, found the start of the first too boring to get through and Brotherhood just not good enough.
Splinter Cell Conviction Coop campaign, granted you need two players it is really fun though short.
Space Marine, got me caught for 8 hours where i just couldn't eat or drink really.

Yes. I never had an N64 so I went round a mates every night after school for months haha. Screen watching is legit though! Everyone can do it, so if people are too s**t to play and screen watch at the same time then they deserve to lose!

I was the worst for it, but when everyone got to no the map it was abit s**t, i would plant Proximity mines over all the spawn points.

Never seen so much Raging over a game to this day. ( the golden gun was a fave + throwing knives )

Freakiest Games:

Will never forget a game called Vietcong, Vietnam era warfare 1.st person shooter, sneaking around the jungle in the dark, no nightvision, just barely 3m visibility, only the weak noise of footsteps near you and it ain't friendly.

Alien vs Predator games, still scares the living crap outta me when going around in those freaky pitch black tunnels with only flares, flashlight and the beeping from the handheld proximity sensor device.

Another one is Doom 3. I would never play it, I'd play the 1st level where hell hasn't arrived yet, then I'd just get scared and come off. I just used to sit and watch my dad blow away these mutated pieces of s**t, he even let me open this trick armoury thing where a demon leaps out at you (He knew that, I didn't at the time!). I've never ran upstairs so quickly in my life. Bear in mind I was 7/8 at the time -.-
