Project Reality 2142, how cool would that be?!

I just had a thought when i was in training last night....

Imagine how cool it would be if they made a project reality for 2142... the walkers and the EMPs and the drop ships and all the cool hi tech gear....

would be epic! thoughts?

It would be awesome. For example, the insurgency mode would play like a scifi movie. There would be government troops and the rebels. And the rebels would have mutants and s**t, you know like toxic the avenger!

And they could model the Laser Rifles from existing ones!...
I wanna go on the sound-recording trip for the walker!....
Also the mutant part could be modelled from.... wait a minute...
Project Reality, 2142? Yeah, I don't see the reality in it.

there was a huge mod for 2142 that never made it and i cant for the life of me remember the name, it was nearly as big as PR but the DEV team had internal political problems etc etc the trailers and teasers at the time looked absolutly stunning but its not listed in ModDb..

as i remember it, it would have been what the OP is on about.

Haha yea i know 2142 is set in the future so realisim is kinda like a guess... but you know what i mean. use a bit of imagination to create a life like reality of the wars and the weapons used in it.

Speed that sounds ace... such a shame when things dont get finished boils me blood! lol

I just think it'll be a cool concept coz a future realistic game would be a tough and fun game to dev.

since PR means "project reality", there could be no more unrealistic setup than a future that wont be seen by anybody born before 2030...

yea but chris it would be like project reality set up in the realms of 2142. so the guns can supress and the infantry cant do anything against the walkers.... basicly create the realism around the concept

Yeah, but than again, that would be great in almost any Multi player game.

Maybe Tom Clancy Future solder may be the next best thing. I doubt it though

In project reality 2142 everyone would go trough timemachine to present day. In the proces their weapons and vehicles would turn into the ones we have now. Only expection would be 2142 ENGINE WHIT REALISTIC BALLISTIC FTW!!!!!!

I wish they'd have a mode similar to Titan for PR. That thing is absolutely awesome in 2142.

If BF2 could support useable ships they could have made Titan Mode with aircraft carriers and an island with several 'anti-ship missile sites'.
