New DayZ Private Server

Howdy guys!

Our Private server is up! i'll just tell you what we can do with it.

We can basically do anything with the server, we are in full control, heck we can spawn a jet if we wanted to, but we aren't going to do that!

So this is what it features

-Timezone will be UTC -4
-We do have access to the FTP
-Admin password in game is the same if you already know it
-I got a discount voucher so it's only £22 a month instead of £27
-We can vote between any map we want (Lingor or Chernarus) but it will only take effect after restarts UNLESS an admin forces it
-Restarts are at 2pm, 11pm (to stop chopper camping) and 6am


Please note the server will -not- be up as they are doing maintenence on them at the moment but it is technically there for me to tweak with.

I will try add it to my gametracker, but here's the IP

I will PM the sub-users to the servers control panel their passwords later today
And no snipps, no tweaking with the code to make the server look pretty

The Password for the server will be in the Clan Members section.

If there are regulars who used to play on our server (like the GS guys for example) you can happily give them the password if they ask for it!

Remember, if you invite someone and they hack the server or grief it, they are your responsibility!

Just a quick update for you all.

HFB didn't do a great job at setting up our server so they are having to reinstall everything, it should be up sometime today but unfortunately I won't be round much until later tonight so it will be around then when the server is up (if they haven't ballsed up again)

Little problem...

i can connect to the server and when i click 'OK' to spawn in it will go through all the normal procedures but then it gets stuck on the black screen with the word 'loading' in the middle
just installed lingor island and been playing that fine so don't know if that's the problem or not

also when i try to join it says 'server is running an older version would you like to continue?' 'yes' 'no' ... might be related to lingor...

any help appreciated

Sometimes you will get stuck on loading, just try different servers. And I don't think that has anything to do with lingor, just the difference between the version you and the server are running.

I'm glad to hear that you guys running a private DayZ server, since hackers and trolls everywhere, its impossible to play in public servers.

Lol, I still have some stuff on the Server dont know why, but im still equipped with my m16 and some food
