So this is supposed to be a thread about achievements in your life.

And by that i don't mean the standarts like planting a tree, building a house and bumping your girl

No!
I want to know some things you want to do outside the box, nevermind if they are boring or exiting, selfish-egoistic or for somebody else, relaxing or exhausting, crazy or serious, safe or dangerous, close to impossible or/and just veeeeeery, veeery stupid... if just achievable


Post if you want to do something and show us with pics or vids what you mean. I don't care about the order, if you just want to have it done.
Post if you have done something... and remember: evidence or it didn't happen

- having a bath here: Devils pool, Victoria falls, Zambia



- goin for a climb in this: Tsingy of bemaraha, Madagascar



- taking a month or two off and explore this: Wulingyuan National Park, China



- taking ELANOR...

on a trip like this






and yeah, not to forget about: TOUCH MC HAMMER!!!

Chris! That trip trough america is also on my list! But I want to do it on a bike ride! The thing that gave me the idea was this website: werereallydoingit.com two dudes with no experience with biking at all go on such a trip. I would want to bring my camera and try to make some nice shots.

Alsop want to do something like ewan mcgregor and this guy who also drives motorcycles in dakar. They went from the north of england to south africa on motorcycles. The show us called long way down. Really worth a watch!

I'd also like to visit some countries which I think would be cool. Such as Japan and maybe find some if their history (which interests me). And indonesis etc. maybe visit some of those weird tree bridges in the middle of a jungle somewhere (down in the documentary human planet. And maybe visit a desert our something

me and the missus are in the early stages of our plan to drive off road around the Iberian coast.

the plan is just at the fuzzy thought stage at the moment (Gareth needs to go off to the army and the missus needs to finish her PhD first)

the logistics are well under way though, we recently bought a 1985 Suzuki sj410 tin top (short wheel base), have got most of the off road kit i need (tirfor, tools etc etc) and i'm prepping the truck as we speak (tyres, suspension etc)

Spain and Portugal both have next to no laws governing 'green laning' so no problem there and a couple of months in the sun next year will have been greatly earned as we live in wales were there is no summer....ever....

so not exactly bucket list but its a nice little project that should be do-able.

Well I don't have many myself as I don't ask for much in life but Family + Friends! But if I could just play and sing like this = I would be a very very happy man!

Me and my brother (who is in the navy) do something every August which is buying a really crappy car and driving it as far as we can to wherever we can. Last year I had just passed my test so it was a special occasion (well, December 2010 - thanks for the advice Orford XD)

We bought a £100 Audi, forgot its type and we drove it to Italy, at the start we broke down on the motorway, freaking wheel blew up and I had to have it on my lap (a boiling hot one) until my dad came to save us XD we got on the spare wheel and we set off.

We broke about 20 times, mostly due to over heating and leaks was a laugh. we take our huge tent sometimes but when we get to our location, which was italy, we stay in a nice hotel which is pretty funny pulling up in a shitty car XD

we took 2 weeks off to do it and got there in 2 days, stopping over night. Was good. We plan to one day take a month off and drive alllllllllllll the way to China for a laugh would need better than a £100 car though we usually give the car away to some charity after we have broken it, they don't look best pleased.

But yeah thats our dream, to just try do that every year one day get to south africa, buy a car in america and drive around america, go around asia and in australia, it's great fun you guys should try it

live with my dad until he throw me out, and by then I want to be in the swedish military ^^ I dont want a normal job thats pretty much why I dont want to do the same thing everyday.

Your posts really belittle me, guys, I have nothing to add of this sort.
Mostly that is because my life is in f*****g turmoil so my top 2 priorities are getting my s**t together and be a good role-model for my little sister (aged 15) while I'm going that.

Now, IF all was well, I'd definitely want to try out:

Taking a long-ass road trip across the US + Canada.
B.A.S.E. jumping
learning to fly
Climbing the Everest
Camping in some snowy Scandinavian mountain, WITH LOTS OF SNOWBOARDING INVOLVED
finding a spouse willing to do all these

Planning on spending a year out in Whistler (Canada) after Uni and become a ski/bike hobo.

I also wouldn't mind road tripping across the USA with the bike too.

Already spent a month out in the Alps with some mates flying down mountains, so thats one off the to do list

Indeed I do.

Take it up, one of the best sports I have ever taken part in. Also, racing is at least 50% of the fun xD

Might buy a mountainbike soon when I get some monies available. Got a nice job at my former internship now, so should be good
