Weapons Caches

For those of you who aren't sure.

The best way to ensure you destroy a weapons cache with one thermite grenade is to lie down and tap right click to drop the grenade right nxt to the green radio on the cache.

Alternatively you can shoot the green radio until u hear the first explosion and then run. The cache will explode a few seconds later. Use one of the handily placed LMGs or RPGs (stand well back if using the RPG) located on the cache if possible jst remember to get ur own kit back sharpish once it's blown,

The only difference with right clicking is that you can hold the granade ready, right?

no with the right click it will drop right it infront of you so you dont have to throw it and it bounces everywhere but with right click just drops on ur toe

Ah right, I see. But for the other 'nades, it is as I described, right?

Its the same for all nades right click to drop them on your toes or hold right click to the required power then throw.

Yes right click works like that deadly. I shoulda been clearer in my guide, you jst need to tap right click to get the nade to drop on ur toes.

Yes you should most deffinitely run like fk.

However if the cache happens to be in an upstairs room do not run underneath the cache until it has completly destroyed. Explosions in PR tend to pass through walls and floors.

oh right so the old stick ya head in a wall bf2 style wont work on pr then

i also found that you can shoot it which sets off multiple explosions and then it goes bang and destroys the cache - dont be near it tho when it does!

Thats true if I miss with my thermite I will pick up a Kit from the cache and waste the ammo from that to destroy it.

ye i normaly pik a rpg 3 shots and it will blow, but dont pik it if the cache is in a small room

It usually only take's one shot with the rpg for me =P, sure your hitting it?

I have never killed a cache with a single RPG round tbh. Even when messing around in an empty server with no pressure to destroy it quick.

oh ye hes right, it was 0.85 that took 3 rpg hits to blow it but now its only 1 if u can hit it like vandal said.

thank you this Weapons Caches you cant request kit but you can get ammo

Am afraid this topic is now void.

It takes no less than 3 Thermite grenades to destroy a full health cache in the new patch.
