Dogfight Zone?

Hi NWA,

im Rage member of the NEW Community i have a question how you handle the attack zones with jets on your server
meaning if you spotted the enemy jet how far am i allowed to chase him and shoot him down? is the main in a dogfight a no go?
above and below cloud ceiling?

Im asking because we are thinking about a new rule on our server.

Afaik it's allowed in a dogfight, although I can't find a specific rule about it. It does seem silly that a jet that's being chased could simply fly to its main base and be safe.

Baseraping with vehicles / AA is forbidden. But dogfights should be allowed anywhere on the map. IMO it's also for the best of gameplay that people shouldn't go looking for (landing) jets (/taking off) above the enemy airfield.

i think, its pilots own decision to chase the enemy jet over its main base, and take the risk to get killed by the main AA

That's the point and thats why we have now established exactly that rule!

If a jet is in the air its fair to attack. The only thing to add is don't camp the airfield waiting to pray on jets landing or taking off. As mentioned above. This isn't within the spirit of the rules. Can be considered as uncapp camping.

If you are in a dog fight your are engaged, flying over main base is not a safe zone just as it isn't for your attacker.

Our admins are instructed that jets that are taking off are included in base rape. This also covers helicopters over helipads.
