Samsung RV520

I don't know how old your kids are, but It's got pretty much anything in the way of an "all-in-one", Webcam, wireless, Bluetooth and all that jazz, aswell as a decent spec. Just border's under your budget though!

pcworld has an i3 dell for £399 but only 3gb of ram. Has all of the extras as its £250 off, HDMI out 500gb HDD etc etc.

thing is with 3 gb, you'll get "slower" performance then with 4 or 2 gb, because they use something called DIMM (laptops use SO-DIMM), which stands for Dual in-line memory module, if i'm not mistaking that means that they are faster when they are in group, aka slot 1 & slot 3 work together and slot 2 & 4, but if you only have 3, one gets left out.. that's the short story of it, but please correct me if i'm wrong.
