Battlefield 2 airsoft mod

Hey guys

As some of you may know, I'm making a mod for myself.
And version 0.5 is now released. (Not downloadable yet though)
Try it out and let me know what you think, if you have any interest in the mod.

Interesting work though I doubt it will catch on. Things like one hit kills and bullet drops and the like might turn people off. I bet if in real life we could simulate bullets as well as in games but without the lethal parts we'd do it (Simunition?) but we have to make due with plastic pellets.

It will not be something big like the know mods, but v0.3 got more than 2000 downloads.

The sounds were something that I meant to change, but the dude that said he would could make some new hit calls, haven't responded back (yet, he contacted me last week). :silent:

Now i just have to wait till thos dudes at moddb authorise my mod, then it will become visible for everyone.

Start position (x/y/z)
Bullet drop (gravity)
Deacceleration
(Bullet speed)

Ah cool. So it's reasonably accurate.

i downloaded it then tried to play but when i click on the icon it just comes up with a text document

You may read the very first part.

v0.5 is available now and have been for a week (forgot to update)

If you are using the downloadable icon, then you may want to extract it from the archive, that could help.
Or run it as an admin.

I haven't got any issues when being admin or launching from desktop.

I'm sorry...probably I will sound like a bitch but why would you make an Airsoft mod if you can use 'real' weapons? :S

'Cos it's a bit of fun and these are actually more "deadly" than the "real" BF weapons: 1 hit KO and insane rate of fire.

This is a really fun mod, been playing it since the first version.

It's 1.4 GB, so it's quite big. If I had the time and will, I could probably reduce the size to around 1 GB.

Anyway, the one linked above is the newest version.
There will be an update sometime, but it's not going to be within the next couple of weeks (month maybe).

Hey guys
I released a new version of the mod a week ago.
v0.6 a sh*t load of maps and layouts, and a lot of new skins for the soldiers.
It's a bit larger download this time though, about 1.5 GB.
But hey, it's shouldn't take more than an hour to download it

I would greatly appreciated feedback on the mod, but I'm properly not going to develop further on it the next couple of month.
