I have already orderd the Case and the CPU Cooler, Cant wait to get all the parts now
Might take a couple of weeks to get it all, but im in no rush

m8 u basically gettin exact same system i bought few weeks ago and u will love it . its forkin awsome but i have to agree wit ellish i had a 700 watt corsair power supply and it wasn good enough if ya spendin all that dough i would get more powerfull one

A few people have mentioned about getting a better psu, so ive been thinking about it now lol.
What would be ideal then?

Keyboard : Look at logitech, maybe a G110, or ask Snippers which he has, that includes a small screen for things like TS3

Mousey : Good pick

I gotta 1000w power supply, it takes up a heap of space but will run anything for ever

Well that's what I thought too
1000W ==> Take 750-850 corsair than, it can handle it well.

But take a modular one, so you don't have wires in your case that you don't need.

Well If you gonna buy a second 480 than it's better ti buy the 480
I thought a single 480 and no futher updates ...

Just becarefull with the power usage
Than an 1000HX wouldn't be a bad idee, if you keep in mind that you can update in future without any troubles with the PSU.


I also recommend a crucial SSD or OSZ VERTEX II, those 2 are the best on the market right now.

And SSD + HDD is great, I have that too.

On my SSD : W7 + project reality, antivirus (the required progs.)
All the rest is on my HDD + storage, so you keep your SSD clean and sast

Thats exactly what i was planning on doing aswell.

all sounds like a cool setup i got ocz ssd for windows n just the main game i play and a hdd raptor for storin all me shiit and it works a treat

Edit my List as im getting the G510 keyboard now and im getting a gigabyte gtx 480 instead of a overclockers stock one, to match my motherboard

Well thats its main purpose gaming, But i use it for alot of things tbh.?

Updated list, Im getting a 1TB HDD aswell as my SSD, also found a desk.

Updated my list because they have just brought out a GTX 580, So I might aswell spen another £30 more than the 480 to get it.
Plus its Faster, Quieter and uses less power than the 480.

hey man you will have to tell us how the 580 is coz im gettin sick to death of my xfx 5870 its a great card can handle anythin i throw at it at all high settings but the firmware is a joke. So im seriously considering getting a 580, cheers in advance

Got my Intel i7 950 this morning also came with stock cpu cooler. (wont be using it, Got H70 instead)

My SSD that I bought ran out of stock the minute I clicked buy so they just sent out my psu and ram.
Also on that pic is my G9 mouse box, which im currently using because its the only thing im using of my old comp .

I've had parts for a new pc lying all over my apartment since before christmas. Had to send in the mobo and haven't gotten a new yet. I can't wait i want l33t pc now!

Im in no rush and im patient.
and i have build it up but only the parts that i have just waiting to put my gfx card in and ssd.

Not 100% sure, once I get my gfx card and SSD ill post with the price including VAT & Delievery.
