Joining Game from desktop alias

I believe it's possible to load straight into our servers, simply by clicking on a desktop alias? Can anyone point me to where I can download the software to do this please? For both Vanilla and PR, ta!

Here is what u need Bang.

Right click ur desktop shortcuts and hit properties.

In the target box paste the following (adding your login and pass in place of the hashes.

Here is the PR shortcut
:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +restart 1 +playerPrefix *NwA* +playerName ##### +playerPassword ##### +joinServer 193.93.47.184 +port 16569

BF2:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart 1 +playerPrefix *NwA* +playerName ##### +playerPassword ##### +joinServer 193.93.47.168 +port 16571

I haven't tested the BF2 one yet but PR one works. Remember to REPLACE the hashes completely.

If you click that link you get web page with our server details its called PRSPY. then if you press shift and click the server name near the top it launches PR and joins our server.

Also ha s a buddy list if you installed PRSpy so u can click your mates name and join the server there in.

Do you guys know how the one for the Warlord server would go? Was gonna try and help out once the PR server was seeded.

Replace ### with name and pass, obviously

What's the point of these modifiers? "+restart 1 +menu 1 +wx 0 +wy 0"

+restart 1 skips the into movies/EA/dice credits and I believe wx/wy are the resolution parameters, but why are they are zero?

Is there a way to open my pr desktop icon and make it go straight to the server listing and not a server.
ive already made it logg me automaticaly.

I don't think that's possible, there's no shortcut setting to do that.

I always just pass the login screen.

Soldier you have to have the shortcus set up exactly right.

Without ur password (obviously) post your shortcut here and we will see if we can fix it.
