The Hurt Locker

I haven't been to the cinema much over the summer, so I may just have missed it's normal release, but I only heard about this one as it's gonna be shown in my uni cinema in a few weeks.

It's about a bomb disposal technician in the US army working in Iraq (I think). Looks quite promising from the trailer.

Yep, seen clips for it and will watch it when it comes out on dvd.

Dam good film, not just action but gets in the mind set of the guys that do it. I would class it as a Hollywood docu-drama. Almost in the same style as generation kill but the hollywood side of it gives better action shots.

I heard on the radio today that it was nominated for some award along with Avatar.

Oh yeah, I never got round to updating this thread. It was an awesome film. I highly recommend it. :DThey deserved all those BAFTAs
