So yeah.. If im going to be traveling alot on the motorway im thinking something like this

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201307268010340/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/2000/price-to/4000/fuel-type/diesel/model/fabia/make/skoda/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/keywords/estate/postcode/wa102ez/page/2/radius/200?logcode=p

Skoda Fabia... My grandad has had one from this model and also a new model, my dad said they are good cars, pretty much VW

Reason im thinking this is... I can get one on finance and it wont cost too much on insurance... but it will almost double the fuel consumption (well ok not quite double) of that of my renault clio... I also want somethin abit bigger than my clio.

Wont be until october like.. need my first no claims and have my license for 2 year + gonna wait til after me b-day... Thinking fabia as its 70mpg extra urban (supposedly) and its a very low insurance group :D

Also for a 1.9tdi its pretty cheap insurance.. hada quote for 1400 yesterday which is alot less than what im paying now :D

the fabia will do 70mpg if you drive it very economically like 55mph in 5th gear you will average more  around 55mpg driving in normal conditions its got the same engine in as my audi i averaged 63mpg on a run to north yorks last week so good engine and very economical if driven right but got enough power to pull when needed

Is it the Fabia VRS?

You can get good MPG and have quite alot of Poke with a respectable 0-60 time in these. with a remap you can push from 130 to 170ish BHP without changing anything.

Worth considering

Group 9 insurance also which is cheapish, well for a 130BHP car it is.

but the vRS is a diesel, my lines of thinking are that its a fun car to drive because I diesels are boring.

but if it just a to b and you don't really care then yeah I understand.
