Grid aiming
Does anyone know if its possible to improve on the grid aiming effect in BF2? i.e. In-Game resolution (although this is set to max) or drivers.

Re: Grid aiming
Not sure exactly what you mean. But you can up the display resolution by adding some exra settings on the end of the shortcut to launch the game. I have my screen set to 1680 x 1050. and extended the aspec ratio of the menu to 1.15 so it dosent look squiished on my monitor.
+menu 1.15 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 I have been told the +widescreen 1 dosent do owt you just need to put a widscreen ratio in the szx and szy settings.
I assume you now how to copy paste the text above into the end of the target box in the bf2 short cut. Make surre your monitor can handle it.
As for aiming grid

Re: Grid aiming
Give peas a chance!
The aim grid is the invisible mesh over the intended target within BF2. Sometimes you'll notice that if you try to aim at an individuals head its hard to put the pointer exactly onto it. The aimpoint will jump to just below or around the point you want, because of the grid.
I've done some further reading. Lowering the mouse sensitivity also helps to cross hairs snapping to the aim grid.

Re: Grid aiming
Lowering mouse sensitivity and upping your DPI on your mouse may help you.

Its simple, I just turned down the sensitivity on the mouse settings... ...didn't post it before cos, well lets face it, was noobish to say the least. :
Glad I found out about the grid. Chuffed i've fixed it though, as Data will contest. I took his head off when he stuck it over the top of a wall the other night! fnah fnah!

Re: Grid aiming
LOL you took Datas head off. Then he chased you for the rest of the round proving you picked on the wrong person to test your new settings.
