When did it occur?
What exactly led to this?
Was it just random?

Are you using windows 7? If yes it might be the same BSODs im getting from time to time. Every time it says it's being caused by windows temp and .dmp files, and they tend to grow really big after a few days for some reason. I clean it every week now using CCleaner but the problem persists if i don't clean up that s**t.

You should try to look up the bluescreen error on the eventvwr.exe
You might find some more information there

20mins ago, had just started my pc up, was looking in the forums and it just went BSOD, found this in the Logfile thingy via the administration tools..

Usually it "only" happens when I Alt-Tab out when in PR...

I got no clue on what it could be and I have 2 "basicsystemunit"(translated) drivers missing and can't find em' anywhere..

Do them tests that exetick put on, if nothing shows up there then make sure all your drivers are up to date, do ccleaner, check for spyware and viruses as they can cause bsod, if you have installed a new programme before it started happening then uninstall it and see if thats the problem just start knocking things off the list one by one.

when it crashes to bluescreen it stays on for a few seconds then restarts your computer right? at the bottom of the blue screen where it says that
0000: 00000000 00000001 00000000 C0040004

0008: 000000EF 00000000 00000000 00000000
0010: 00000000 00000000 crap try and quickly look either just below it up top of it there might be the file thats causing it, for me when i was getting them it ended in sys. like rltek.sys which was my realtek driver something similar might be there for you.

if still having the problem then go to computer help websites like www.tomshardware.com, look for peoples similar problems or make your own post, copy and paste your diognostics and see if anyone can help.

Could also try reverting back to a restore point when you didn't have BSOD or doing a fres windows reinstall which is a mindfuck but could sort it out.

When i just finished building my comp i had the BSOD all the time aswell, i literally tried everything, every possible option to the point it nearly got drop kicked out of my window, turns out that my CPU was overlocked an extra 2.0 mghz but all i did was went to my BIOS and put it all back to default settings and worked, might be worth a try g.

G 9 times out of 10 if you have changed nothing ie no new hardware no new drivers then it more then likely over heating.

Take the side off blow out all the dust. Clean the dust out of the CPU cooler. Leave the side off and run the pc for a while. If it still BSOD then take out the ram and put back one stick at a time. If it runs ok it could be a fucked stick of ram. Or a ram slot. Try putting in 2 sticks of ram in slot 0 and 2. If that's ok move the ram to slot 1 and 3. that's for dual channel ram.

Also in the start menu search box type msconfig and go to the last tab. Unchecked every thing. This will stop any background program loading at start up. if ya PC runs ok check each one back on and use the pc. Checking a program back on before the next time you use your pc. This will help track down any background program that may be causing a conflict.

Also unplug any unused USB stuff you don't really need. This could be draining Amps that may be needed by the graphics cards and causing BSOD when required but unable to draw upon. Also the mobo USE bus could be fucked.

Work your way through that lot big lad.
