Data-Analysing Robot Youth Lifeform - that was my childhood. I used to watch that film once a day because it was the only sci-fi film I was allowed to watch in the late 80s and early 90s.

Yup. I enjoyed it very much. The plot is nothing to write home about, but it's a good enough excuse for the action, light bikes and soundtrack. :D

Fair enough. I wasn't expecting a multi-layered story line, so as long as all the things you listed are decent I'll go this weekend.
Also, I haven't seen a 3D film yet so this is as good an excuse as any!

It was decent, I saw it at the empire in London in 3D :D, effects were pretty awesome, the story anit 100% it was nearly there but it felt like something was missing from it. But overall worth a watch!
