Remember that gaming servers are run by serverhouses and are provided by a company that provides services to thousands of different companies, agencies, authorities, hobbiests and gamers.
Attacking, by ddos or by other means, any of these consignes you also attack the rest because servers are overlaying and are going in and out on the same "tube" (connecting layout).
So the attack or any other difficaltes that occure in that serverhouse affacts all those within.

We just might be so lucky that our server provider hosts some server space for some european authority that some ppl around the world dont like. Thats how fragile world of data is..

i doubt it mac, i'm sure you can pinpoint certain netwrorks/ports etc and attack specific ip's etc.

they just need our IP and send s**t load of useless packeges from 10-20 different computers and there you have a ddos.

I think all the s**t that the Intelligence (all around the world) agencies is seriously fucked up but thats beside the point. Another mans freedom fighter is others terrorist. In other words in short its someone f*****g with us/the host you can take that as you please.

Why so personal? What I said was pretty generalized. I was mostly thinking on the DDOS attacks on wikileaks and piratebay but I guess you can bring in intelligence agencies as well. Terrorism is a big big word that shouldn't be used lightly, especially not for this kind of internet shenanigans. Note that I quoted Zonex too, not just you.

This is simply wrong. There have been atrocities and other acts of violence in order to instigate terror in the opposition by many resistance factions. The Spanish civil war comes to mind. Of course, as I said before, not all of them resort to such measures. Also, as Spatteli already said, "another mans freedom fighter is others terrorist".
