I'm not so excited. Looks way to MMO. I would rather just have a co-op function in TES series, where 1 friend joins your game and the gameplay etc. is still the same.

That would be awesome but would also be terrible at the same time.
When I start playing an Elder Scroll game I marathon the f**k out of it, I wouldn't have the patiance to wait for my friend to come back online so we could carry on doing the missions :(

But I see where you guys are coming from.
Imagine a Borderlands style Elder Scrolls... using the concept of the 4 player co-op quest system, but using the Elder Scrolls Lore and graphical designs with more emphasis on the Lore rather than the gear.
If Gearbox and Bethesda teamed up I would physically jizz in my pants.

i'd like more than one, like up to a group of 4... and a dynamic difficulty with it ofc.

this system will be used in StarCitizen as well.

edit2:
lots of features will be implemented in SC as well, to mention the most important:
- megaserver for localization
- friends/clan/guild preference
- points of interests
- constant updates
- single player first with drop-in/drop-out co-op

looks like future online games have taken a step into a new direction
