How to make pr login faster

No one wants to tell me... What do I have to delete so I dont have to wait for a minute login.

do not delete anything. (causes conflicts) (i'm talking about intro movies)

google Bf2 cleaner.

download it.

run it and delete your graphics cache (might take a while if you've never done it-be patient)

delete server graphics cache.

enjoy fast load in times (conections to central EA and then sub servers)

Bf2 cleaner is not a large app and it has a small interface, have a play it's quite clearly layed out, remember though that it cleans on an account basis so if you have lots of names it might be worth going through them all.

To skip the intro vids, add "+restart" at the end of your shortcut's target path.

iirc some people have had troubles with that hunter (PR v.975) might be wrong ?

Okay, here's how you speed up your PR loading time. Go into your favorites list and clear EVERYTHING out. What happens when you log in is your game attempts to retrieve your entire favorites list (and LAST VISITED SERVERS) and then compiles them all together so it can be some kind of "lazy man's dream" kinda thing. Well, what happens is if you have too many, it has to search the 200 or so PR servers to find them all, and if you have a server that went down ... well ... did you ever click a red server in your favorite list? Sometimes it will take 30 seconds or more before your game responds again after realizing that server is a lost cause. Well, multiply that by how many red servers there might be ON TOP OF all the server that are actually legit.

If you get rid of all the servers, it'll drastically increase your log-in speed. Deleting the server graphic cache isn't so much an issue as that only takes up space on your HDD, but the Favorite/recently visited list is the real culprit here. Delete it, I bet it'll speed you up.

i've never had a favorites list but i regularly clear the graphics cache and when i do i speeds up log in time to EA central server significantly.

Bf2 cleaner is a brilliant old programme thats so simple to use and has been perfected and is free, there is no reason not to use it and lots of reason to

The game adds servers to your favorites list automatically. You just need to play on the servers for once. Cleaning up the favorites reduces the time it takes to connect to EA server and get response from it.

Well, the game doesn't add them to your "favorites" per sé. That just happens to be the name of the list. FAVORITE servers are green. Recently visited servers are white. Which means every single server you've ever been to will be added to that list. Why genius EA decided to let it record an undisclosed amount of servers as opposed to say, 10, is beyond me. But anyway, the longer you play without clearing it out, the bigger it is and the longer it takes to log in. That's why when you create a brand new account, it will log in VERY quickly. Try it, you'll see. If you use a Single Player account, it's almost instant because there is nothing to connect to. When using a fresh MP account, it takes a little longer because you're being verified by the server. When you use an old, uncleaned account, it will take noticeably longer.

As for BF2 cleaner, yeah, that's a general purpose cleaning tool you just need to have. Sometimes you'll get graphics glitches from either bad or conflicting graphics files, which this will clear them all out. Basically, your graphics cache is a place on your PC where your game stores all of your graphics information. That's why when you log in, it'll "optimize shaders". And then you wonder why that goes away? The information is stored in your G-Cache and the game reads then and figures "Well gee, I see, these are the settings he last used". Then it loads that. It's always why when you change something, it optimizes again. Your computer is basically like "Well let's load the ... wait a minute... that ain't right" and it re-writes your G-Cache.
