HELP NEEDED ASAP

ok so a few months ago i had to make a new partition so ment downloading part 1,2,3 of PR an installing it ive done it in the right order bf2 runs fine, but when PR loads it gets to verifying client data an either stops or crashes, ive reinstalled it about 10 times no lie and i deleted the cache folder as VINCE instructed an nothing im tearing my hair out here HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

HAVE YOU INSTALLED THE LATEST PATCH FOR BF2? 1.5 I BELIEVE

uhhhmmm hmmm, I'm gonna assume vince made sure your drivers were all up to date. Did you update vietnam (if you had it)?

Don't get vietnam if you don't have it already, try the BF2 cleaner.

Run bf2 sign in exit

Run pr

Where is the fault?

bf2 1.41 then 1.5 pr parts 1,2,3 map pack then patch an installs pb along the way

It must be broke Mel? might just be better buying bf2 agen i think.

bf2 works fine loads in fine an plays fine

ok so from fresh install bf2, patch 1.41 and 1.5 all works right?


redownload pr, use a different mirror to the one you got it from the first time, in case its courrpted



install all the pr parts when you do "run as admin"




Is the pr install failing, or is pr GAME failing?

no the game installing is fine jus crashes when it loads an gets to verifying client data at the end but the pr dog tags still spins around

oh an my last post if any of you say yes V i have a brain in my pants would you like too see is getting a kick in the balls

Did you delete the startup movies? You can't do that anymore... not sure if the problem is the same though.

Graphics Cache -> Cleanse Files
Account Settings -> leave it alone
Server History -> Clean em all
Server Favourites -> Leave that alone too
Logo Cache -> Clean if you want to, press continue if you get an unhandled exception
Disable Movies -> Don't, will break PR even more. Vandal had a problem in the new version where his deleted movies were throwing a fit.

if you are running PR for the first time you need to run it as 'admin' if you don't you will get the problems you describe.

Are You talking about "verifying client data" when you are loggining in or when you've just finished loading a map/server? If the second one, then maybe try reinstaling/updating PB?
