You can have password in server name like: NWA Reality AAS (PASS: LOL)

Can people that dont have it still join the server? Also, requiring a password is probably a no-go for something that most don't care about

yes capitan if people dont have the soundmod they can still join our server to play.

yes because its not announced by the realitymod developers and its not released in one of there patches.

I agree, we should at least put this into 1 server. It wont effect our regular players but might attract more people as there is a fan base behind this mod......which I aint part of.

Gents, does not the soundmod be integraded to the next release of PR? You admins may decide whether rush to enable it or wait for the next release or if I have mistaken vis-Ã -vis this piece of information of it being integraded to next release, you may erase my meaningless post

Definitely should be, it enchances gameplay so much.. try standing next to a tank at full volume, I've nearly ducked in my chair a few times
I still run it anyway, I love it that much I'm willing to get kicked.. plus I've been playing for 40m+ and not had a single kick, so it's tolerable :/

it does sound intense no complaints, but as ive said on PR forums the small arms fire sound like fire crackers or ballons popping.

^ I have no experience in firearms but I'm certain that they do not sound like they do in PR now: *BOOOOOM BOOOOM, BAAAM BAAAAM* - It's a small explosion inside a barrel, of course they sound like firecrackers.
The only thing I feel isn't good about have the sound mod on is: The guys without the mod enabled have have a huge advantage due to the PR sounds being easily recognizable to what kind of gun/vehicle is heard. The mod sounds are not as easy recognized.
I'd rather wait for the mod to be implemented into the game itself.

I do. During my time in the FDF, I once managed to forget my ear protection, when a PKM that was like 1 meter away from me opened up. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, my ears were ringing for like 15 minutes. Nothing like firecrackers. Vanilla is better in this regard.
That said i do like the some parts of the soundmod better (reloading sounds, walking, equipment shuffle, incoming fire), but the weapon sounds are just better in vanilla.

Pec, I'm not talking about the sound level of guns. I'm talking 'bout the actual SOUND. Like the PR sounds are like too muffled you know. They're too much BOOM and not enough CRACK!

I love the sound mod, personally, I think some things are beefed up to what they should be (AK47, M16/M4), Some are a little weaker sounding but more accurate (PKM), and somethings are just all-together better (Walking etc).. Pistols are good

If anything the soundmod sounds are muffled by too much bass on the weapon sounds. Vanilla sounds are clear and crackling. But i guess it's apples and oranges, I personally prefer the Vanilla ones.

I am perfectly happy with the default sound of PR.
As far as I am aware. The soundmod will not be integrated into pr because some of the sounds are taken from other games, and permission has not been obtained from the owners of this material and therefore the devs will not allow this material to be part of the PR software.
(This may have changed, since I have not read any pr forum post about it for a while.)

0.4 has install issues...
Many like me, Install MD5 mismatch kick, uninstall still MD5 mismatch kick, get Vanilla serverconfiles - sorted.
It's OK but I'm waiting to see it integrated now.
PWed server makes seeding a big pain.

Ploddit password can be in server name. MD5 mismatch kicks are not becoase of the mod, they are becoase servers havent enabled soundmod.
