UOTC Familiarization Course 25/03/12 8:00pm

If any of you guys have interessts in learning the UO gameplay, they have set up a training course for n00bs.

time: ca. 120 mins
Training Tasks will be:

Phase 1: ACRE
Phase 2: The Shack-Tac HUD
Phase 3: Basics of ACE Keys
Phase 4: Stamina System
Phase 5: Order of March
Phase 6: Formations
Phase 7: Arcs of Fire
Phase 8: Conduct within UO
Phase 9: Fireteam Roles and Equipment
Phase 10: Actions On Contact
Phase 11: Actions on Casualties
Phase 12: the Chain of Command


I'll attend it, so that we have at least 1 man in the clan familiar with their way, so we might be able to participate on their servers with the NwA-squad

ofc there will be other, more specialized courses, witch i am goin to attend as well. i learned a lot from the arma vets here, but those courses will provide more than reading a textbook.

Chris, to be honest we don't even know half of it and everyone that wants to play the UO mods should attend a training course.
And then I am mostly regarding to get familiar with all the ingame shortcuts and also the USE of the radio. Cause 99% of radio use now is jibberish which seriously annoys me sometimes. Check out UO Teamspeak, play a game with them and you will see what I mean... Short, compact, direct, using specific command an no uuhhhh use of the radio...

UO community is much more serious on this game and that's, how strange it might sound, MUCH more fun...
PR is fun, United Operations is realism at it's best.

Thats why we arnt on there server every night, we are getting used to playing the game first, most of us have only just installed it. So getting the know the game then working on hte radio calls is the way id like to go. Crawl before you can walk and all that.

I have attended both the UO familiarisation and radio courses. I highly recommended them to anyone even if you're just starting with the game as they are well run.

Thats what i hope for deadly: learning by doing
