Anyone using a G500?
Hello guys.
On my old MX518, I had two buttons on the left. I used them both for Mumble (Local & Squad), and used a keyboard button for TS. Now, I bought a G500 for an upgrade, and I've got 3 buttons.. but I can't seem to use the "middle" of the 3 buttons for TS chat. Anybody got a configuration or how they work theirs?

middle button doesnt work for me either (a lot of programs don't recognize it I guess.) I just use the "forward" button for ts speak and standard layout for mumble (h and 0)

Re: Anyone using a G500?
I bound the middle key to end and use to use it as my squad leader radio key, but I don't use it anymore, with the new PR mumble. The best trick is bind it to a keyboard key, then bind that keyboard key to what you desire.

Voodoo make sure that key is bound to something in windows. For example backspace or whatever. Because if it isn't bound to any action in windows then TS can't recognize it as a key. Get me?
I Had to bind my 2 sidekeys to "windows key 4" and "windows key 5" :S No idea why but yeah...

Yeah I get you - IE, Set say 'Decimal Numpad' to activate TS speak, then Bind the middle button to (Sort of) activate 'Decimal Numpad', and then that'll activate TS? I had thought of that, just couldn't think of a number that didn't mess with PR and didn't mess with ARMA

Got that installed, but it's just finding a good key that doesn't interrupt PR and ARMA2, since they're only games I play using TS predominantly.

The mouse software will let you set key combos so try shift and a key or CRT+shift then a key. T'S also allows key combos too.
In BF2 I had the mouse buttons set to primary weapon and prone, Then the mouse wheel flick left and right set to , . They were for defib and medpaks.
PR is the same but z prone is set to change ammo type, then F is TS push to talk. Leaving the mouse for prone, primary weapon and the mouse flicks for mumble.
