Vegas Pro 10.0 RAGEQUIT.

Hello.

I'm trying to make a film using lots of FRAPS clips I recorded.. I'd say about 80% of it is fine and working and renders OK.. then I get some massive black patches instead of clips in some places, and It just won't go away. Anyone else got this issue?

Seems that the FRAPS Codec is hated by x64 Vegas :/

Just save, exit, reopen it goes away

It's the ram rendering the clips, the buffers are full just restart Vegas and it will open where you left off




Assuming of course it's a legit copy....

It might not be the FRAPS codec as much as the codec you're trying to render with, if I'm right in assuming it's black spots in the finished, rendered product?

From my experience with Vegas I've learned that DivX or XviD is probably your best bet after some calibration. h.264 isn't really properly working for me either in Vegas.

Well, Depends Nixy. Sometimes, I get the black patches of video in the preview aswell as the final render

And Nayt.. Of course, a 15 year old High School student with no income can pay for a legit copy easy

I also sometimes get a (Media offline) in brackets, that goes away once I click on the clip in Vegas which is something I believe could cause it

you might of had it as part of a college project, i duno



but yeah sometimes the pre render shows blocky or missing vids, just exit, it will auto save, come back and its gone
