TS + BF

Hello,

Can't seem to open PR or Battlefield when TS3 is running. Running both as admin. Any help would be appreciated.

E.g. Is it a connection problem?

Never tried that one before but..

Eehm, reboot pc and try again, perhaps open it in a different order, I.E. PR, TS3, Mumble or mumble, ts3 and then PR . - "I did that".
Ok, reinstall TS with admin rights and try again. - "I did that".
Ehm, reinstall it all and try again. - "I did that".

I got this one... have a look at your plugins, tell wich are ticked and wich not, did u download any add ons for TS3?

Also what i did is: (windows 7 or vista)
Go to propperties, Compatibilities, Run as admin AND runs as your latest XP service pack. BF2 AND TS3.

Danger, what happens is I can start TS properly and move into channel etc., but then when I try and start PR or BF2 it won't start up. I've got vista and running both as admin.

I'll try Bagger's suggestions and post the outcome.

Not to be , high or other types of annoyance to some people but: DO NOT HAVE WINDOWS VISTA! IT FUCKS, not only your pc up but YOUR LIFE also! hehehehehhehehehe :p

Vista = beta of windows 7

Plugins I got ticked are: AppScanner, ClientQuery, DirectX overlay plugin and volume control. Tried changing the compatibility of BF2/PR and TS to Win XP SP2 but didn't help.

TS works on its own yes?

if you start BF2 then TS does it work?

if you start TS then BF2 does it work?


ts is easyest, uninstall it and start again, loose the overlays and things like that

How about the rest of your system? all drivers upto date, and clean and clutter free? it all helps

im saying run BF2 not PR first because if the core doesnt run, a mod wont



What else do you have open? xfire? steam? mumble? loose all them for testing purposes

i run vista and not had any trouble and dont run anything as admin it just works

Sunash, i got same as u, Delete TS completely and reinstal and use no plugin at all. i got exactly the same with the overlay just reinstalled it and it was ok.

I had the same problem but removing the TS3 overlay solved the problem for me. Try it.
