Air assets training?
So from what i saw in past weeks there some ppl who want to use CAS/trans but not always know how to for example LAND
Im no aircraft guru but i thought i could share my knowlege to clan members/recruits/and maby pubbers too? From what i see we got some training server, some admin help would be needed and much appriciated. ALso got question is it possible to load a map or change something so assets would respawn right away like on Merk training server? If not we can always use Merk's server or something else, I leave that to ppl who knows better. But back to main thing. My idea is to make like two parts of training -
First one to ppl who didnt fly earlier and want to learn/and ppl who are flying but didnt want to learn So the basics : Takeoff/ altitudes/ landings/ how to use ground to take advantage ect. And the second part of training - Strategies/attacking ground targets/dogfighting. Whole different story is bout transport/supply, but i also will be hapy to help. In further time we could also make some infantry AND CAS training cause as some ppl dont know CAS means close air SUPPORT. Would be cool if ppl who dont want/dont like to fly also participate in those trainings because by doing that they would see and learn how to Laze/spot for CAS. What are main advandages and weakneses, cuz what i can see from my PR experience as a pilot sometime infantry dont know how to use close air support, and thats how thinghs should be. Not like lone wolves spotting ther targets for themselves ect.
But for now please post what you think bout that, maby someone else would like to help organising that kind of training, any new ideas?

Re: Air assets training?
good idea..i think combining CAS + inf = a very deadly threat if used correctly.
i think Violet shoud sign up poor girl must of been clenching all her bottom muscle's when..............the rest is between me and her
I would love to practice on the nwa training server how to engage targets with jets properly.
p.s ive nearly masterted landing a jet, a tip: if ur landing is fuked and u know ur gona hit the barrier at 700kph just press "E" u will die but the jet will stop straight away.

Re: Air assets training?
Hey Snaggle, me and master G did this alot in the past.. ill have to ask the senior admin's if its ok for none clan members to use the training server.. if it is then ill take you in there and get you all the commands to spawn assets.
There are some strict rules that apply when on the training server! ill make sure you no them also.. look forward to joining you some time soon.

Re: Air assets training?
Already workin on that kinda training Snagg but if people keep up the "I don't give a sh!t about training" and people keep ignoring the fact that they are apart of the NwA Barracks, I'm NOT doing anymore training sessions, in anything, EVER.
Tried to set up the Tank School again but, yeah, like I wrote above, people don't give sh!t anymore.........

Re: Air assets training?
I know what ure talking about, i was a member of RiP (rusty in places) years ago and i think the most what discourage ppl is strict hours when you have to participate in trainings, badges and trainings that you have to complete. What i mean is too many things you have to do or say bye bye to the clan. What i was thinking about is like if there will be some ppl who will want to train one day we should just group up on TS get on training server and do stuff. Who will not participate or just wont be in mood to do such things it will be just fine. From my experience its a great fun doing those training sessions and even more joy when previously planned tactics work ingame on pub server. Of course i hope i will take part in a match of NwA with some other clan (finding some sparing partner clan woudl be awesome) cuz thats the most awesome experience in PR you can imagine!
So if anyone find that idea interesting just post here so we all can see how many ppl would like to do such things.

Re: Air assets training?
That is a good idea though, if anything of this happens I would love to have like a conference on how to succeed as a pilot in any kind of CAS vehicle, and teach you some secret tricks!
Ps: snaggle you have much to learn young padawan.

Re: Air assets training?
For attack chopper:
1. DONT hunt enemy CAS, let AA handle it ffs.
2. Dives n flares
Let snaggle train newbies, he is awesome pilot we kept the cobra alive whole round. IMO there should be some kinda test if you want to fly air assets, too many helis getting shot becoase of bad flying.

Re: Air assets training?
I'm just a newbie here on the forums but I'd be really interested in air training. Flying helos is awesome but I could use some (i.e. a lot of) wisdom and knowledge...

Re: Air assets training?
The hardest part for flying is that - you never land in the same exact point more than once.
A little tiny hill has enough deviation to pit your chopper in a totally random position.
Having as much practice as i've had though does help, but nothing comes down to "in-game" experience.
Of course people should be "sufficient" enough to fly, but nobody can ever do as much training as is needed to be as good as somebody with a few hours in a max populated server.
I thought i was a good pilot till i started flying in 62 player servers when the lag factor and pressure is on you.
Nothing worse then accidently doing something easily missed (like not seeing your tail rotar wheel is landing slightly on a 15 degree angle) and crashing and having 8 angry people shouting at you
Yeah i guess it makes you a stronger pilot in the end if you can handle it, but not alot of people have enough discipline to handle being shouted at, but i found it made me a stronger pilot, but there is ALWAYS something new you learn everytime you fly.
