seihneser mic doesnt work HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

ok so i bought a seinheiser headset, got windows xp, raeltech an the bloody mic doesnt work ::

ive updated raeltech drivers stil nothing and i also think i have 2 outputs, need some help pweaaaaaaaaaaase

tried uninstalling raeltech but then i didnt have any audio options not even the main one

omg! Ultra with a mic! Never in my wildest dreams did I believe such a thing was possible!

Anyway I don't know anything about sennheiser specifically and I'm on win7 myself, but you should be able to find sound options in the control panel. There should be a tab for recording devices and playback devices. In recording devices make sure that the right line is set as default and in the properties the volume isn't turned down.

Also is it USB or 3.5mm jack? I've only ever had 3.5mm but I hear others have had trouble with USB, especially in relation to BF2.

U sure your new headset is win xp certified?

Prob either in windows audio pick mic in aux in why u hear etc

Or if you have a 3rd party sound card driver ie Asus or creative consol

playback is audio output n recordin is input its a jack use rear pink n green

it doesnt come up on my screen when i plug them into the front doesnt pop up on realtek so i really dont no, ive looked at guides on google downloaded drivers still nothing. didnt say nothing on the box about them not bein compatable with indows xp either n i just noticed im missing the audio output now :: think i need someone who had teamviewer an who is a whizz with pcs

Did you try to use a plug to usb converter, works for me:D

no its like the normal thing, you just plug the 2 plugs form the headset in to a usb thingie, which goes in to a normal usb port( so its a jack to usb thing)
