this is a beta so it only works over this weekend!!

remember that to try this out you'll need to play on NEW ERA, please be sure to read their rules before going on their server as they differ a fair bit from our server rules,

Isn't that because they offered to run them? I'm sure NwA would've gotten the maps aswell if they (we) had shown interest.

There was no intrest to show, if you look NEW and TG are run by the devs, So its as good as keeping the testing in house. Which they can do. As for saying they volentierd then yes that would mean they new it was coming which we @ *NwA* didn't.

No an issue its only a beta test the files once fix will be released very soon after.

Time to bump this since it has been written on the PR forums that these should be out in a couple of days.

I personally missed the initial testing almost totally (only got like half a round on one or two?). But yeah always good to have a breath of fresh air in PR maps.

Is there a link for all the maps so i can DL them all at once?

I dont think there is. Maps we played during weekend betatest were not complete and changes will be made. So even if you have those maps ull have to delete them and proper maps will be avaible to downloads soon i hope

Im unable to load into Vadso though, crashes after load :/. Tried reinstalling the map pack -> nothing, tried rebooting windows -> nothing.

any map that doesn't work will be withdrawn, shangri-la is nearly gone from rotation until it gets a good fixing.

look at recent history with map such as Burning Sands for example.

please report any technical issues here but i would also recommend leaving proper feedback in the PR forums so that the DEV's actually know what is good and what needs fixing.

Map pack released

Download speed on the UK mirror is painfully slow - 28kbps, now using 3rdac - 450 kbps!

I used torrent 900 kbps

torrent - 2.1 mb

Had to download it twice as Norton 360 nuked it the first time! Couldn't even get it out of quarantine.

2mins left, getting it super slow meself! 415kB/s

They are very awesome, shame I am going away, this always happen I go away and awesome content comes out .

Operation Marlin is incredibly detailed such an epic map!

Downloading now. Looking forward to getting my teeth into the new maps later.

3rdAC mirror is limited to 450kB/s (still only a 20 minute d/l though!). Torrent should give the best speeds.

vadso needs removing from the map rotation it crashes > 30 min in the game both servers

Damnit... we have had no such problems before on Vadso

Yeah can confirm at least two crashes. One was about 30 mins in, the other after 15-20.
