If you want to take a desktop screen s**t. right click on an empty part of the desktop and goto view and uncheck show icons.

That was my desktop, its set to hide icons. I don't like icons on my desktop. And cart be arsed setting up an apple esk dock. If you want the clutter ill repost. May be put the my computer icon over some birds gash.
