Well the season is over. But check this video out for one of the greatest runs anybody has seen in Mountain Biking.
This guy beat everybody by 11 seconds, while most of the time its down to just 0.1 of a second. On the steepest, muddiest track in the world.

To give an idea how insane these people are.
I could hardly ride down that track in the dry without falling off, let alone at that speed.

I once took my standard halfords mountain bike with some mates to a quarry, went down one hill, my speedo pinged up at 37mph!!! Never did that again and that was a straight line!

No I haven't yet. But its on my list of tracks to ride next year. Along with Fort William.
