ping spikes
Anyone know what maybe causing me to get massive ping spikes??? my ping is usually in lows 30's but now keeps shooting up to over 400. keep getting kicked off any kind of server...
and yes, i have reset my router...

Win7? Tried turning off File & Printer sharing?
Radeon CCC installed? Uninstall CCC you just need drivers. CCC checks for updates all the time..
Auto-updates of any sort ; Windows, antivirus, adobe etc,etc. Disable.
With Win7 goto task manager, slect performance, click Resource Monitor. Network tab will show you what/who is using the network, it gives you the option to suspend or end processes.....

ok you on bt ... check you havent been automaticly signed up as a btfon spot cos they have doen it to lots of people ie , you can get fry wifi any were but people can use yours , alos change ya filters they gave ya , check to see if you have any broken street lights out side ie going on and off a lot , when it happens restart ya router do a quick speed thest then befoe they connect back to you ...

on your phone socket , did bt give you any when you got your router they should off the will be in the box the go inthe wall socket then plug ya line back in .
