Transformers 3

So who's seen it then? I saw it when it came out (Orange wednesday FTW) and I actually really enjoyed it. Much much better than 2, and no awful trampy megan fox!!! Story was ok, considering it's about giant robots from outer space, not too ridiculous. Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but some of the military related bits are hilarious.

Saw it Sunday night...

I especially liked the first 2 mins... ... you'll see what I mean. Its 12ft wide and you can bite it!

All in all, I thought it was a pleasant surprise. With some funny one liners, the effects are perfect. Go and see it, you won't be disapointed.

oh, but I do miss Megan...

In my opinion, its this CGI s**t like every other movie these days. Most stuff you see on the screen is digital. And the plot...cmon...I mean, why they dint just bomb the target in city? It was supposed to go down with only rocket launcher.

This is only me but the movie is raped with CGI

Any of you ever watched movies like HEAT, Terminator 1&2, Alien, Aliens, Predator, Rambo(the first one )...

Im sure they said they couldn't get any aircraft anywhere near the city, due to the GIANT SPACE ROBOTS

Again, this a movie about GIANT SPACE ROBOTS. Good luck making a transformers movie using props and scale models. I remember my transformers toys, like 3 moving parts?...believe me, I'm NOT a fan of CGI in movies that don't need it, but transformers without CG? :: There would be nothing to watch without it.

Yes. All excellent movies, but not free from CGI. HEAT is a movie about people, not scifi so doesn't really fit? T2 - the antagonist is 50% CGI.....The others are all people sized aliens. Make a life size transformer that functions then I'll agree that CGI sucks!

They got in infantry and damn VTOL aircraft and not cruise missiles?
Actyally they got the cruise missiles in later , they just din`t hit the target.

And by meaning its raped by CGI, I mean that most of the effects are made by CGI, not only the giant space robots. Michael Bay just makes mainstream movies with sh*tload of effects and bad plot. Actyally he just uses plot as a reason to add CGI effects.

Yea they said tomahawks, but the explosions they made were tiny? Thought tomahawks were like at least 1000lbs.

Yea you are right, I miss real explosions and all that stuff, unfortunately I think that is the way things are going. And yes, michael bay is not known for oscar worthy film making, but he does do action well. There is a place for both mindless action and proper storytelling imo. I enjoy both.

definately didn't miss that Bang, espcially the bit at the beginning , she is waaaaay better than megan fox. and very english! We do get some things right
