i giggled when he started to flail his hands about i must admit.....

nearest thing that ever happened to me was coming down a hill on me old triumph, there was a 90 degree left hand turn at the bottom, i pulled hard on the front brake, followed by a comical "PING" as the cable broke !! by instinct i threw the back end out by locking the back wheel, made it round the corner and stopped in a bus stop on the wrong side of the road speedway style.....

couldn't get back on the bike for adrenalin for 5 minutes

fitted the biggest and beefiest Yamaha clutch cable i could find after that, (its still there lol)
